5W20 or 10W40? Need professional experts

Guys I have already driven with my car Honda City 2001 EXiS A/T upto 5500 km and now I think the time has come to change the motor oil. Now some do not get to start that why I have waited for so long. Its because I use synthetic oil and it should be driven long compared to myths of changing after 3k or 3.5k (no offense intended)

I poured Shell HX7 15W40, but now due to reviews and technical specifications am more bent towards ZIC A+ 5W20. As the figures tell that in winters ZIC Oil is better but I have no idea that under idle running is 20 better or 40. So guide me please.

5w20 willtoast your engine..It is water..For pakistan min 5w and max 50w is ok

5w30-5w40 for newer engines..P.s as haji said pour in the recommended viscosity by manufacturer..Check your oil cap for viscosity requirements

For our climate 5w-40, 10w-30, 10w-40 are preferable for newer engines. For older engines you can opt for 15w-40, or 20w-50. In my personal opinion 5w-20 may not work properly during summer when temperatures can go above 40 deg. C in many areas in Pakistan.
