5w30 for Swift(Please Help)

Dear swift owners .I know this particular topic has been discussed like million times on this forum.Actually i had cultus 2018 model before and i was pouring 5w30 SGO oil in it and i was extremely satisfied by tht oil.Now i have bought new swift auto.When i checked owners manual it is clearly written 5w30 or 10w40 are preferred oil grades for this car.But after checking out comments on this forum i came to know around 60% of owners recommend 10w40 25%of owners recommend 5w40 and 15% owners recommend 5w30.So i just want to ask those who use 5w30 in swift.hows the performance of engine and mileage and is it suitable for long journeys or does it have oil reduction issue because being less viscous.Please 5w30 users i need ur suggestion

Overall is it safe except fr performance.like oil reduction or oil seeping through seals etc etc only thing im worried about is engine.which ever oil provides best safety to my engine is my priority

Brand stick to SGO for swift. m13 is a 16 year old engine while ur k10 is much newer and advanced in Cultus. Avoid experiments even though its a new car. 5w-30 has no issues but SGo Never gave me an issues when i had swift manual at least.

It's amazing grade,m series and I've driven it in all weather and using it in summers, or winters.... Whether its a hilly road or a scrotching heat of summers.

For how many years have u used it in ur swift.and did u have any sort of issues like oil reduction or other engine related issues

I've a liana but engine is m series.
Its been 2.5-3 years. And this grade is being used in our two cars and other than this, people who are from my social circle are also 5w30 users... In their different cars... Never ever heard about oil consumption or any thing else.
