5W40 Petronas fully synthetic oil for cultus 2011

Aoa,

I would like to know what will really happen if I switch from semi synthetic 10w40 Mobil 1 to 5w40 fully synthetic Motor oil. Car driver 101500 km 2011 cultus.

It will work perfect.
Do use Engine Flush before filling with new oil.

Why do you want to use such latest oils in such an old tech engine of cultus. 10/40 and below API SM is good to go for this engine

Abid Bhai I just used one for my new 2019 cultus. Was just curious what will really happen. Will it do some damage?

it will work okay but it is better to use 10w30 caltex havoline, cheap and cheerful, it will give you better fuel average and performance.

I observed significant improvement in cultus, after shifting to this oil from 10w40 total.

You need 5w30/ 10w30
