660 or 1000cc? Do suggest which one to buy

AoA, guys please do suggest which car model 660cc or 1000cc should I buy for within a city commute.
Keeping in mind good fuel average. Please do suggest model nd variant in both category. I personally want to go for 1000 cc as it's AC work comparatively better as compared to 660cc. But still your suggestions will help me to made better decision.

if to be used as second car and strictly within city limits, then 660cc is good enough.

but if u might need to go on highway, then atleast 1000cc is recommended.

newer cars have better performing ACs, regardless of engine capacity, but still engine capacity still matters to a certain limit.

In 660cc VXR variant if you want AC with manual transmission. VXL if you need auto but with a few quirks and some upgrades e.g. retractable mirrors, infotainment and power windows. In 1000 cc there is Cultus or Wagon R. You can check specs from website.
I am using VXL Alto AGS and am happy with my purchase. I get 25 km/l with mixed driving on short, long, grocery and school pick and drop. AC on 660 Alto is pretty good.

Imported 660 owners say that they would buy local one because of reliability. Recently a relatives 660cc CVT gear box has started giving trouble and its a minimum 50k for repair. Much more for a new one. CVTs are good until they act up and in Pak no one knows how to maintain a cvt

Bro i have a Pixis 2018 GSA 3 and i wont even buy a local grande over it, what to talk of local 660cc...... i have a 2022 Sportage as well by the way so i m not saying so cause its my only car and i m trying to make a hype of it....but a JDM 660 is billion times better than local 660 crap....and its AC is FREEZING cold.......imported at 8000 km myself and now its around 60000 kms and is going FLAWLESS MashAllah. Has goodies which even top of the line Corolla and civic dont have. So in my opinion, JDM 660 is OCEANS better

I am sure a good experience with feature loaded car like pixis/mira is better than local cars. Btw I have sat and driven in the car you have and yes it's miles better than the Local alto. Although not all cars imported are that way. Now a good car like yours new is also considerably more expensive than a local Alto. I have seen prices touching and even going beyond honda city category. Most people prefer a bigger car if that's their only car. so, it's a preference thing and the Miras mileage is also much better than the Altos.
There is only one aspect of any 660cc that I thik is inferior to bigger car i.e. its natural body weight and size which feels much safer on higher speeds and offers better handling than the 660s. 660s feel like they are floating in air beyond 100km/h. Also parts are expensive and sensor issues if an accident occur are hard to solve and find replacement for.
For a 660cc only cars that come in the same price bracket can be technically compared.
