The man from whom I purchased this engine has no idea about its origin, as per my research on the google I guess is that itās from DIHITSU Mira or Suzuki wagon-R 660 engine model dating between 1997 to 2003. But I am still not sure.
About the high price; let me tell you guys, I hand picked it from hundreds of EFI engines lying in front of me in the market. This one was the best and the shopkeeper was asking for 38,000 and no less. After a long discussion it came down to 36,000. I was able to get the same engine but not in such a shiny condition for about 27,500/- but I wanted the best one and the best ones are at best prices. I did not wanted to end up on KABAR with a worn-out engine.
Today I went about 40 kms. took the approximate reading of the fuel gauge and kept noting as the car traveled. On my way back home I refilled the petrol till the limit where the needle gauge reached about the same place on the dial and noted that It took about Rs. 200/-. My ride was not a smooth drive, it was to a village where it almost felt like going in the city. So, you can say it was a 40 km city drive. For Rs. 200 I guess it was amazingly low consumption.
Petrol price = 76.76
How many liters in Rs. 200 = 200/76.76 = 2.60 litters
It means it went 40 kms in 2.60 liters
So, ho many kms in one litter = 40/2.60 = 15.38
For a city drive, not bad for an EFI 660cc I guess. Moreover, there were speed breakers throughout the road even if it was clear, therefore I guess it would go more in a litter in a long and clear road like motor way etc.
nabeelaslam381 bhai I am like you a nobody with very little experience but I have friends that are mechanics who help me figure out the best, and it is the best way to go about such a swap. There is a lot of market fluctuation all the time so one canāt say the perfect calculation for any expenses to be incurred. I have explained the detailed expenses in the aforementioned post of mine so, do the math and see where you get.
About turbo; you canāt fit CNG in it as it canāt run on CNG at all for having an all time working turbo in it.
My car is working on CNG amazingly well.
Bye for now folks.
