70cc Head/Engine Heating

Hello everyone,
I have unique 70cc, its been a month now i am feeling my engine is getting over heated. showed to the mechanic he said head is ok, tapid are working fine. we will have to open head to check piston/ring. i want to ask if anyone have idea about what is causing the over heating.

Change oil with kixx 10w40 it will b ok then

change the engine oil to higher viscosity, try castrol 20w50

First what makes you think its overheating ? Extreme lean fuel mixture can cause heating issue did you recently got youe bike tunned with "petrol kam kardo" wali tunning?

If engine oil's fine then check the oil pump......the easiest way to check it by losing the upper tappet cover and then starting the bike, after starting open the tappet cover and slightly lift it than see that it sprays engine oil form there or not.....if it is not spraying then your oil pump was not work right.

1. How it can be oil issue as i am using GTX since 3 to 4 years in my other bike also never caused problem, and i change my oil on 1000KM.
2. Yes I recently tuned my bike on Sat, but its third tunning after the heating. And i dont believe in "petrol kam krdo wali" tunning. Mai shoqeen ho 90 100 per ly kr jata ho kam petrol mai guzara nai hta .
3. Normally 40 ki speed per chalao hardly 1 sy 2 km engine itna garam hjta ky you can't touch it. And sometimes it start smelling like overheated engine.
4. Oil pump is ok, last checked at tunning on Sat.
   One more thing to mention my carburetor is not genuine, its lifan with 85main jet and 34slow jet. It has missing problem so i rejetted it about year ago.

if oil pump is ok and you are satisfied with engine oil also the mechanic
then only thing remain that can be suspected for heating is chinese carb
may be it has malfunctioned and is not providing right mixture to engine
and engine is getting hot

has the mechanic checked the spark plug? if it has crossed over 11k km change it

Yes plug is ok.
how to check carb? if i change with another, it will start missing, then have to rejet it.
and my mechanic has advice to run the same, jb tk chalta h engine aisihi, farig hga to new carb or head daly gy matching ka.

which bike do you have and how much km on odo?
i don't like chinese accessories at all lifan etc have very low quality
and specially an component like carburetor they don't make these good
an good mechanic will be able to read from spark plug condition weather
carburetor is supplying right fuel mixture and if you have some good friend
you can borrow carburetor from his bike and give a try if engine gets hot

Check folat height if its too low engine could heat up

you know where to find genuine unique carb? i was thinking to buy Saz carb now, its better than lifan and other but if i can get genuine it will be great.

Problem in pulser and coil or the wrong timing also causes over heating.

than it is very possible some thing wrong inside engine in fitting
most mechanic are idiots they can't rebuild engine properly and your bike
is opened three times 1 time engine and 2 times head repaired

you can buy atlas honda genuine carburetor but i don't think now carebutor
can only be taken as suspect after what you told for engine condition

let me tell you case of cd70 2009 model of my relative he bought it used
mechanic suggested engine repair and after repair his bike's engine was getting
heat up after some use and missing so eventually he sold the bike

when i purchased it engine was dead so repaired it around 15k KM (that was the reading meter showing dont know if it was actual), then everything was good, even i have touched 110-120. the heating problem started in mid Dec.15, i showed to different mechanic 1. said head and clutch plate are gone, 2. said ky wall tery hgae h and piston jam lag rha h or muskil sy 1 sy 2 hafty chaly gi. (still running) 3. said oil is jaali and carb mai khachra h. (changed oil twice and tunned aswell no effect)

i will not sell it.

wall = valves if valves are bent engine would leal compression you engine performance will decrease to great extent plug will be full of oil (unburnt smoke actually)

Open carb the bowl that holds fuel is float bowl

I called my friend and showed him the bike, he said problem is with carburetor, head and carburetor are not matching. You rejetted it in hot weather it was fine as now weather is cold its not matching with head and causing heating. On other hand head is also weak and losing its performance.

His advice is not to do anything and run it till it completely goes down then repair complete engine at zero with new piston, new head and carb.

1 question do hot/cold weather matter's?

i suggest go to honda antenna mechanic or warranty mechanic not all mechanics
are good even here but alteast they are better than any road side mechanics so
i suggest go to him tell him all details lets see what he suggest

after what you are telling now you have idea of what i was saying in my post
most mechanics are idiot as you told three mechanics told three different
possibilities

and i think you should try thinner oil like 20w40 and check if it helps
clutch plates are worn out when you feel clutch slippage and bike feels
heavy on speeds like 60 and above and it takes time to go higher speeds

if you are not in mode of selling it than brother you search for good mechanic
try honda's mechanic as i said

i will visit another one tmrw near Johar, he is a good one in alteration, let see what he says.
