Its all about priorities. If you want some fun & don't care about fuel expenses, then you should go for 3sge.

Btw 4age BT isn't a bad option & can also be considered.

7afe with some bolt ons and the c160 4age blacktop gear is a very good combination with short ratios. Go for 3sge or 2zz ge if you want some more power, 7afe and 3sge cannot be compared in performance as well as prices.

2.0L 3sge is performance class while 7afe is 1.8L Econo power class...

Sir It's new, have more electronics, head flows better, very lights, got 6 speed really short gear ratio, weighs only ~115kg, high reving engine and got Vvtli similar to honda vtec.

2zz churns out more power but is not an ideal swap for AE101....i wont say it cant be ..but ideal

if someone is looking for performance then he's open to more options even 3s-gte but if you are looking for econo power swap with less hassles than 7afe is hands down easiest among all...

almost everything pops-in with zero mods required.... its just 7afe in good nick if a hard find.... a good refreshed 7afe will do it..

if a person can take a bit more then 1zz/1nz... considering they had practical experience of dealing issues along with good fabricator guy and courage toi tackle electricals

3sge produce 160-190hp with around 150kg of weight.
2zzge produce 190hp with around 115kg of weight
There are other variants of 2zzge which are detuned to 160-170hp. Have smaller throttle body as well.
Internals wise 2zzge got forget ones with very beefy Rod. Lotus elise got supercharged variant of 2zzge. Supercharger was just slammed on bone stock 2zzge. And it makes 260hp all day.

Agreed. 1nzfe is one of the best swap for a daily driver car. There's not much Fabrication. Just mount brackets.
For me 2zzge is better. It just traction problem which one has to face. Although it's pretty expensive now.
Ae101 actually came with 3sge beams named as TRD2000.
