8 Days tour to Neelum Valley from immediately after Eid

Dear travelers.

I need support and guidance. My wife 9 months son are going to Neelum valley on annual holiday. I need your valuable suggestions for improving our plan.
So far I have set following plans. Due to limited available budget we plan to go maximum through Public transport. OR I have almost brand New Suzuki GS150 available in ISB. Please advise if it is appropriate to go on our own bike. We wont be carrying much luggage. Maximum 1 backpack of 24 Inches.
Our goal is to visit till Taobut. Any diversions or suggestion in the way are more than welcome. We plan to go very flexible. but aim is to go till taobut.

"Any type of suggestions are welcome, regarding change of plan, any special food recommendation, hotel recommendation, any must go place. anything. but we do have limited budget...

Monday July 11 Day 1 Khi to Pindi ViaGreen Line Train
Departure from Khi at 2200

Tuesday July 12 Day 2 Reach Pindi at 1900
Night Stay in Rwp

Wednesday July 13 Day 3 Leave Rwp for Muz at 0600 from Faizabad via Skyway ac bus
Reach Muz at 1000
BreakFast in Muzafarabad
Leave Muz at 1100 via AC coaster / van
Reach Sharda at 1800
Night Stay in Sharda

Thursday July 14 Day 4 Early Morning Visit of River Side
Visit to Old university
Lunch in Sharda at 1200
Leave Sharda for Kel at 13:00 via public van / bus
Reach Kel at 1500
Explore the Vicinity
Night Stay in Kel

Friday July 15 Day 5 Leave to Arang Kel early morning via lift chair or hiking
Explore Arang Kel
Night Stay @ Arang Kel

Saturday July 16 Day 6 BreakFast in Arang Kel
Explore the area further till lunch at 1200
Go back to Kel via Lift chair or by foot
Leave for Tao But at 1400 via jeep

Rather than planning and spending yourself why not contact any tour operator ,or visit this area with any adventure company,that will be more comfortable,luxury and secure as changing transport is real headach and specially with a young child and wife..So please look for that broo

Do not go for neelum valley with 9 month old kid..I had recently visited this place and with wife and small kid its not suggested..

If u must go then do not go by yourself instead there are many tour companies offering packages on fb .. Go with them its cheap secure and hassle free.

If you want to go on Ur own then go till keran and stay at valley trakerz .. In may2016 they were asking 2500 per day..

دوسرا جو بھائی یہ مشورہ دے رہے ہیں کہ کسی گروپ کے ساتھ چلے جاؤ تو یہ ٹھیک مشورہ ہے۔ یہ تھوڑا مہنگا تو پڑے گا لیکن ان کے انتظامات ہوتے ہیں وہاں۔

AOA, brother I visited neelam valley in last august with my family and 1 year old son. That was a very good experience.

Following are the suggestions you need to consider;

*arrange some rented vehicle from Muzaffarabad and dont use Bike...
*Visit Kundal Shahi and Kutton if not visited, these places will come on your way to sharda
*You may also stay at Keran Motel, very nice place to spend time.
*Try to book your maximum stays prior so that you will not face any hard time with your family.
*Try to save your child from cold and do bring all the medicine and ORS etc. with you.

Donot gi there on bike. It will be very dangerous for u. Aur mausam ka bhi koi pata nahi hota kab baarish start ho jaye. As u mentioned that you are travelling with a 9 month old baby. I strongly recommend that u should gi there with a travelling agency rather than go on your own.

AOA...Good ....never plan on bike ..last year i visited Neelum vally with my wife & 3 Daughters, age 8 year , 3 year and 1.5 year. in August . We enjoye a lot.... we started our journey by Greenline... night stay in pindi then for Muzafarabad we booked ticket in Khan coach. We reached Muzafrabad around 12 then from same busstope i booked ticket in local coaster for Shadra. @ 7 pm we r in Shadra. I stay at Nelum star river gust house.. I planed for 1day in shadra but due to the location of hotel and sight seens i stayed 2days.... then went to kel with locl bus . In kel i hired potter for luggage and guidence to track up to Arangkel... it is recomanded to hire someone otherwise its so difficult to clim up ... Night stay at Arangkel .. i forget the name of the resort...but its just beside of Muskdar resort.. Night stay in Arankel means tour ka sub pasa vasool... in Morning due to havey rain i am unable to continue my jourey towards taobautt . We go back to sadra and then Keran .. l checked both vally tracker and AJK resort ..... but with good river view, we decided to stay @ AJK resort. Keran..spending 2 memorable days in Keran. We go back to Muzafrabad then From Muzafrabad to muree , patrata, nathiagali , Islamabad, Lahore then finally bakck to Karachi..... via GreenLine.. If u need any help i am available..
