I think you are overestimating a simple old land cruiser.
its a general build vehicle and has been on road for a long time. Most car/small truck owners in Pakistan choose to "see" with their pockets and assume that repairs should cost no more than a cheap lunch - as "mechaniky" is a "poor profession"
Thats where the problem starts - and they end up burning piles upon piles of cash.
remember the old urdu saying, "mehengaa roye aik baar"
