The lines on the micro pajero were covered with an aluminium insulation there. btw - it still doesnt do anything because the vapour line is the line going back to the compressor.

blower is not powerful enough....should have used compressed air...every oil wala, service station and puncture wala have it....in desi language they call it hawa maarna....

Yes boss I agree with you that this large fin condenser is ancient to run R134a.
Boss please suggest what to do next to have better cooling in idle position?..

Should we upgrade the condenser to the new gen condenser with small fins ?? And what about the evaporater it's also the large fins type.....
Should we replace it too or it will work with the new condenser setup.

And sir oe more thing this old R12 system is not efficient in hot temperatures with R134a gas specially on idle conditions.
Should upgrading to parallel type condenser along with R134a would improve the cooling efficiency in hot temperatures on idle condition?

I am asking so much question because my all 4 old crown had old R12 type condensers and they lack the cooling in a hot summer day on idle. I had equipped them with external cooling fan but still they lack it.

Old Serpentine condenser as we see had some beating and fins are bent

if you are keeping this jeep....plan for installing MF Condensor in upcoming winters as these condenser are not so good with R134a as mentioned by other friends too

All post 90's 92-98 model cars face similar issue when R12 support condenser are equipped with r134a gas

i suggest dont spend much if someone say things and tell u tales unless you know they are pro's..

if you got for service and recharge.. change filter dryer + replace all -o rings and get it vacuumed with proper vacuum pump for good 1 hour... then charge refrigerant purging all air from lineset ....... your best chance of making it give a go and increase performance..

i hope evap is not choked with dust...it can only be checked when you dismantle the whole thing unless it comes with cabin filter

Can you please wait till zulfiqar sahib tell us what to do. As I am also facing same issue and had sourced the R12 Gas too. If he tells us that current condenser won't work too with r12 gas then we would replace the condenser with parallel type

that thing is called evaporator and removing it will discard all charged gas.. i suggest you find some ac expert and take it directly to them

What is the purpose of preload? And what are the after effects of excessive and insufficient preload?

Oh and by the way. The driver seat will have a small foldable cane made seat. Everytime you will get up the back rest will collapse. This will help in creating a space between rear end and seat for maximum ventilation and.........
