you will have a rolling disaster if you use those oils in your corolla as they are not fuel efficient oils and also it makes no sense to use an oil that would cost you about 30,000 PKR for a gallon and use it in a corolla.
now for partial lock.
partial lockup can be explained like slipping the clutch in your manual, it applies at half pressure and provides an elastic bite (stall) - this is only in the torque converter though, not the actual friction packs of the transmission. They do also rely a bit on that partial bite - but for them they are never at partial lock, they smoothly engage and stall the clutch (assembly rotating at full rpm of turbine)
partial lock creates a lot of heat and can cook the ATF, to battle this ATF are blended with special add packs so the oil doesnt oxidise fast and also provide a smooth transfer of the lockup clutch in the converter - otherwise it will shudder like an earthquake.
