should a person go to a shop and ask for "mobilaail" or "caltexaail" or "kicksaail" - I tried that in many countries and didnt find a single product claiming that on the package.

I also tried "C-aail" - didnt work.

Our bhaijaan here - had a very epic facepalm moment of vaseline and petroleum jelly, LOL, vaseline is a brand of unilver - the material name is and always was petroleum jelly - even on planet Pakistan.

btw - you will love to read some french and swedish service manuals then, the wiper motor is called "wiper engine" in some.oldschool japanese ones - it was even worse - you had door closing engines in Hino buses.

its really odd - when you see a Pakistani person in Home Depot asking the electrics section guy for "choke" for his tubelights. - I let them play along for about 5 minutes, one guy speaking broken urdu/english and one speaking english in spanish accent.

I then go and tell that this gent is asking for a ballast. - LOL. - Home Depot guy goes nuts laughing - asking how is a ballast a choke..

should give you an idea.

basically you need a mold, liquid urethane is poured in the mold. when it solidifies, its like a rubber.

depending on hardness. it can be rubber soft, or plastic hard. select according to your needs.

shore 60A hardness is for daily drive cars. not much harder then original rubber mounts.

ask for casting urethane shore 60a durometer

search for 3m windo weld, some people have made bushes from it as well.

The Vaseline argument is technically correct but the Motor Oil argument isn't.

The problem with full solid urethane items is that it is useless as an isolator - specially engine mounts or suspension bushings as it doesnt flex - specifically engine mounts that are weight bearing have cavities in their design to accomodate NVH isolation, using solid mounts results in a terrible vibration unless your engine is a 12 or 16 cylinder masterpiece of design that doesnt vibrate at all.
