its a swap from a shop 3+ hours away from home base this time, not a re-build so keeping fingers crossed for teething issues which require frequent workshop visits after swap

Yes there are few experts who love to give comments on mechanical & electrical issues, but when we ask them to share contact numbers, they hide themselves like they live in WhiteHouse or Buckingham Palaceand working under Pantagon’s instructions.

Some have their reasons not to share contact for very good reason as stated above by respected members !
Hiding is also a good thing as few dont likes to be in limelight like rest of many
Some Just Love To Be Under-grounded With Only Limited Trustworthy people around

waisey i do see capsats point here, regardless of the slight inconvenience, i think if a contact is shared and the problem is resolved over the phone, the basic purpose of the forum is then left incomplete, as many readers will miss out on many pieces of the conversation that took place on the phone.
But with that said and done, conversation over the phone in some cases is a necessity, but it should also be taken as a respect for the forum to jot down the important details here so that the platform can also benefit.
Because after all, it is this platform that has brought us all together

Congrats tintin1 for the swap, that's the best one could do in Pakistan considering we don't have any proper mechanics/facilities here to bore,hone and repair as per factory service standards. Regarding preference of workshops and fellows not sharing contact numbers its their own choice, you cannot and should not impose something u like over others. This forum is open for all so everyone will recommend there favorite mechanics, and to err is to human... so same mechanic might be good for one and bad for another customer. Enjoy your ride. And for others stop complaining guys.

Some times I do want to leave this forum and say goodbye to it forever when I saw failures which we all are responsible because at some point we don't share the knowledge we had to share according to the ongoing job which some times lead to a serious financial loss.
I some times feel guilty for not sharing some info because if we do discuss on it the keyboard warrior's start a war over the forum and the discussion turns into a battle feild.
Which now I do avoid because we are here to solve each other's problem and share our experience with each other.

After conversation with you @tintin1 boss I do feel sorry for your loss.......

But I pray that your all efforts will be fruitfull and this new swap will last as long as possible. Good luck with the new engine.
