yes i just drove the LC and asked my friend about it
i dont think people over here have the honing tool
they prepare the surface with hand and emery paper probably - crude way
running is done,oil changed, it runs like a gem so far

One issue to look out for on a 1hd, 1hz, 1kz etc.

If you see that the engine oil level is rising on its own, the front of the ijnection pump is leaking into the crankcase.

i dont think people over here have the honing tool

some day in some free time walk to a machine shop doing engine work, with an smile and polite approach ask the owner how they work over engine sleeves & cylinders , you will be as excited as a child in toy shop only if you are really keen to know

no machine shop can survive without these items. These are basic honing tools.,

Smart Ones Use Sand Paper Over Boring Tool Instead Of Using Hand...For Such Size Cyl It Will Literally Take Weeks And Hours Unless Someone Just Consider Few Lines As Honing Not To Forget That 45 Degree Hones

But That Will Not Bring That 45 Degree....Honing Tools These Days Are Pretty Cheap But You Are Correct....No One Gives A ---------------... Get It Done Their Way And Jaaan Diyooo...! Tintin baba. I am more interested in consistent top speed,how much beating it can take and reliability. It never ceases to amaze me as to why the people who keep jeeps are so concerned about fuel average​

speed is no measurement. The true test for a 1HD in your cruiser goes as follows.

get some 30,000 lbs proof rope, tie it to chassis rail. now find a telephone service pole and tie it around it (solid) - put in Low/Low and apply power to take up slack on rope - give it more juice (keep an eye on your surrounding for cops, idiots and also transmission, turbo and engine temperature) - If you can bend a small telecom pole - your 1HD is good.
