88 Corolla Vs 95 Civic

lots of comments n comparisons given by lots of gurus, i hvae used them both 88 as well as 95. some of my personal xperiences r:

1) Civic 95 has gr8 respect onroad whereas 88 has less.

2) 88 has and aukward interior whereas u'll feel happy while sitting in 95.

3) 88 parts r now a dayz way too xpnsve here in Pesh while 95's parts r easily availible in cheap price.

4) while driving an 88 u'll never b noticed by ppl whereas driving a 95 every1 will notice

5) 95 has a high comfort level than 88.

6) 95 is youngsters car as well as famly cn also use it but 88 iz only a family n as said above UNCLE"s car

in the end i'll suggest "DRIVE THEM BOTH URSELF THEN DECIDE WAT 2 BUY"

88 has very strong suspension, good engine and consumption. Reliable. Any MISTRY USTAD can work on it...

well both cars are good but you need to be very tricky in your selection as for civic you need to consider 15years under her belt

and recon 88 corolla you also need to inspect very carefully only few out class 95 civic and 88 rollas are available and now a days people are asking too much for out class piece

anyway good luck both cars are good just go for the out class piece weather you found in civic or corolla.

i agree with u that civic is a car for youngsters and corolla is a good family car good for uncles... well there is nothing wrong about that...if u see both civic history and corollas history u will find that honda produces civic by keeping young generation in mind while toyota produces corolla while keeping 25-30-50 age group in mind. so both have almost differenct targets.... so u cant blame toyota for the sober and gracefl shape of corolla... and u cant blame honda for a sportier shape of civic and aerodynamic.. cx both shapes suites perfectly well their targets..

RRRSSS... my frnd eh u said back then on page 1 that go for civic its most popular car.. to remind u why dont u recomend mehran.. a new one... which can easily be bought a lil above 5,00,000rs... its even popular then civic..

@topic poster.. dude here no one even me can compare both the cars for u from every aspect. we all just give our opinions regarding which one we like..

both r good cars of their own years... it depends on u which one u like... just dont listen to anyone... go test drive both... buy the one which u like acording to the condition of the car.

respect well i dont think so 1988 has no fans out there.. it depends on choice... way of liking.... way of thinking...

2ndly. u said interior of 1988 corolla is awkward.. well my frnd... it might be awkward to u.. but according to cars shape and its year of production i would say its a fine interior.. it mainly is a luxurious type of interior... so no one can blame it... it depends whether u wanna have a luxury look or sporty look.. u cant say awkward.. then what about Jaguars interiors.. they only have wood.. rest just look at those interiors... 1988 corolla interior is fine which suites people who like luxurry look and a descent look.. 1995 civic is for people who want sporty interior i woudlnt say exterior... cx every car looks good after descent modifications..

and 3dly...
drive 1988 u will never be noticed while driving 1995 u will get noticed... why??... does 1995 have gold plated stuff.... does it have diamonds.. is it created by rollsroyce... my frnd all ur statements r just lame... u should not say this... cx both companies created both the cars according to different class of people.. differenct targets.. civic mostly to attract youngsters... and corolla mostyl to attract age 30-50... and there is nothing wrong in it... cx why ... do we think its awkward.. arnt age group 30-50 people humans.. cant they buy a car... if corolla is for them.. ther is nothing to be ashamed off... and there is nohting to critisize corolla for that...

i would my self say go for civic.... cx its newer then 1988 corolla..... its good civic ever produced....

on the other hand.. corolla are well known for reliability... aur jahan tak road grip ki baat hai.... grip ka koi masla nahi... corolla 1988 r very stable too... agar overspeading karoge to mere bhai phir mercedes bhi nahi bacha sakti....

corolla even if its 1988 model.. its still very reliable.... so its on u which one u wanna buy.... thats it.. just do wht ur heart says dont listen to anyone.....

88is best put 1.6 efi in it and enjoy it i give u 4 years trouble free drive if the car is body wise good.95 civic is very beautiful but not reliable and rough and tough like 88

I have corolla 88 now.
But i am also about to sale it in order to purchase dolphin 95.

There is no comparison of both.

My vote for civic is 80%
And 88 is 20%
