Yar i am thinking of getting 1988 corolla for myself , but alot of people are telling me that this car has alot of problems and i will have to take it to the workshop every second day , so i am asking all you people who actually own an 88 , is it true ?

I don't own 88 but have 86.
The problem is that one can't find a 88 in clean condition...all avaliabe need work or just in case you find one then it would be beyond budget.
Old cars need a lot of attention.

I own an 88 for past 4 years now.

Keep in mind as of now the car is 28 years old. You will need to make expenses in the start depending upon the condition you are going to buy it in.

Body parts are available but priced too high these days. Let me know if there's anything you need to know about it.
