Some grease/oil was over here on the rubber. Seems like there is a crack on the rubber Is this ok or something needs to be done? What wud be the Cost?

Hello guys,
Can you people suggest maintenance check list which needs to be done with reborn on 50k on it’s odo.
I own this car since 2012 and I haven’t changed any single thing just oil and air filter stuff and tuning 1-2 times in whole period.
Recommendations needed:
Oil grade and company ,air filter, brake pads, catalytic converter cleaning anything else.

These need done every 40K interval:
Power steering oil
Transmission oil
Transmission oil filter
Fuel filter
Brake pads only if needed and brakes cleaning

Use genuine Honda parts and oils.

Reborn or any later honda does not need anything othee than oil n filters but at every 40,000kms.
Following need to be changed.
1. Transmission oil
2. Steering oil
3. Brake oil if required
4. Disc brake pads if required
5. Fuel pump and if required filter too
6. Check catalytic converter if it requires cleaning
7. Spark plug cleaning and tapped tunning.
8. Throttle body cleaning
9. Injector cleaning. I get it done even though honda does not want me to.
My dad has civic 2009 it has done 175,000. It is maintained always from honda fort Lahore. Its maintenance is done as per owner's manual except for oil, oil filter n air filter. It is still giving 15km/liter on motorway @ 130km/h. 11-12 in city.

Always use genuine parts. They keep the car up to spec and it should benefit you in the long run.

Also READ OWNER'S MANUAL. It has everything required by the car.

In the book it says fuel filter change on 80k. Where is the fuel pump ?

Yes need to check many thing. I have 2012 model too only driven on clear roads and motorway. I have changed fuel filter, twice brake pads, spark plugs, all oils, engine oil mount, throttle body and cat con cleaning amd once ac service.U need to get all these checked at minimum

I recommend you to avail the complete 40k km maintenance package from Honda 3S. Should be like 50k +. There will be peace in sha Allah for the next 40k kms.

Trust me ,i would love to avail this but the thing is mechanics in my town specially the guys who are working in honda palace hyderabad would say like, everything is ok just go go,last time i asked they said all you need is oil change and brake pad service nothing else.
How do i trust them that’s where pakwheels comes handy and expert opinions from various pakwheelers.

What is the fuel average yo are getting in city and on long with AC and without AC?

Bro Mine gives with AC in city around 12.5 to 13.5 , on motorway i drive with heavy foot it gives 14 max....as i have a manual....without ac in city it gives the same as above, on motorway it gives 14.5 i guess not more than that, if i drive between 120 to 130 kmph,manuals are more efficient in cities than on long,due to shorter gear ratios

Advice required regarding engine oil.

Currently I am using Honda Genuine 10-W-30 SM oil in my car and always used this. After 2200 km since last oil change, my car has reduced a little bit of oil i.e. one box/mark on the dip stick. I checked it while the engine was totally cold and the car had been sitting overnight. Is my method correct for measuring the oil?

Secondly, I want to switch to pure Synthetic engine oil for my car with 10W-30 grade... Kindly suggest me the best of the best synthetic engine oil, for longer engine life, reduced engine noise, best lubrication between parts, higher flash point..... And please tell me, will it be compatible with the old mineral oil I am already using? I mean the engine got used to of it....

Here 10w30 is not available in synthetic
You may use 5w30 synthetic or 10w40
