Bro how did you get the engine mount replaced for free from pit shop? I talked to 3s here in Islamabad and they didn't entertain my car for free mount change.
and how did you lubricate the clips? My car is producing same chirping sound from driver side. please post pics if you have any for better understanding

Took pics for you bro. This is the cover I,m talking about. extremely dirty Twist the knob and pull it downwards.

Open it and Lubricate these white clips and hopefully the chirping would go away. I hope it works for you as it worked for me.

I went to Honda Pit stop sahiwal for tuning aand general checkup. I personally know the guy incharge and he's my dad's friend. He told me that he can change the mount and pipe free as it was company's fault as these items were not of appropriate quality. I said if they need replacing then go ahead and replace them. He checked them and he told me that he thinks that they are already replaced as these two items could not survive till 85k kms. He checked database and confirmed that they were already replaced, infact they were replaced in this pit stop. I phoned the previous owner and he also confirmed that he got them from the the same pit stop.

Okay I got it bro. Pit shop sahiwal people also knows me and my car as well. So i ill get mount replaced from them.

Ok, this window and power steering issues popped up in early versions of 8th gen. I am not when they got resolved but people say the issues were no longer there in later models. Maybe someone else can comment better.

Newer models are also fine tuned for more fuel economy.

What is the optimum idle rpm range of civic? Mine idles near 800-850rpm. I drove a friend's 2011 civic and it was idling at nearly 700rpm with AC on.

Bro get it changed asap. Mostly people don't bother about tranny oil and they even don't change it even after driving 100k kms.
Maybe your previous owner had not got it changed at 40k and 80k.

If any one is facing hard clutch issue in MT civic models. Lubricate the clutch cylinder and assembly with wd-40. Problem will be solved as it worked for me. My car's clutch was very hard.

If any one is facing hard clutch issue in MT civic models. Lubricate the clutch cylinder and assembly with wd-40. Problem will be solved as it worked for me. My car's clutch was very hard.

Bro did you do it yourself or got it done from somewhere ? Do you mean clutch master cylinder or clutch slave cylinder ?

Is this the cylinder you are talking about ?

Some say Grease should be used instead of wd40. It lasts longer.....

Mine idles at exact 750 regardless of ac on or off.

Probably everybody knows this but people who want to get rid of annoying seat belt indicator beeping. Simply pull out the white grip under driver's seat and leave it unattached.

Mine needle showed around 750 rpm but the Honda diagnostics software depicted exactly 735 rpm after they adjusted the idle post TB maintenance.

Usually hard clutch pedal means dead pressure plates but well if it works, thumbs up!

For this civic it works bro. Just searched it over and found that wd40 is also a solution but short lived. A good quality grease should be used instead.

Yes it is. But this should not be advised to someone. Because this annoying sound sometimes force driver to wear a seat belt, and this is a good act in view of safety.
