Usually, the engine stays good till this mileage with just regular preventive maintenance. However, the is not always true for transmission. Depending on the driving style, and gear oil change intervals, some transmissions do develop problems. Drive the car around, take it up to 100 km/h speed, so you can notice the shifting behavior of all the gears. It shouldn't be too jerky and the gear should lock in smooth and strong. Also, notice the speedometer, some cars develop flickering in the digital display for e.g. if the car is running at 117 km, the display will show it as 111 km because a small portion of the display has malfunctioned. In such cases, you will have to swap the speedometer with a functioning one.
If the owner has overhauled the suspension with aftermarket Tokico, KYB struts, the car will ride stiffer than the original. Check the trunk area under the spare wheel for rust damage. I have seen many civic and city models of this era that get badly rusted in this area.
Other than this, I don't think high mileage will create any issues. Better to have a car with original high mileage than to drive one with meter reversed to 50K or something.
