I want to update my experience about Mechanic Ustaad online mechanic service in Karachi. I had booked an appointment on Thursday and got a call on Friday. The customer representative who seem to be a knowledgeable person about cars told me about the details of the tuning package.
I accepted the package since the cost was lower than the one quoted by the roadside mechanic in my home town i.e. Gulshan-e-Maymar. Believe me when I say 99 percent mechanics in my area are a fraud.
The roadside mechanic in my town was charging Rs. 3500 for engine service including tapit and injector and throttle body cleaning and Rs. 3000 extra for CAT cleaning. Brake show or tire service cost was extra.
Mechanic Ustad quoted me Rs. 5500 for full engine service, CAT cleaning, brake shoe service, fluid and spark plug change, etc.
The mechanic came to my house on Saturday at 10:20 am and completed the tuning by 1:40 pm i.e. about 2 hours. He told me most mechanics needlessly take out the throttle body or CAT for servicing in order to charge more money. The mobile mechanic had cleaned these components without taking out these parts.
My faudy road side mechanic had told me about a non-existent front wheels problem that would have costed me Rs. 12,000 for both tires. The reliable mechanic at Ustaad Mechanic told me that there was no issue with the front tires.
I learned that the mechanics at Ustaad Mechanic are on a fixed salary paid by the company. That is why he did not have any incentive on telling me about non-existent problems to make extra money.
Alhamdulilah after the tuning, the pick of the car had improved. Moreover, there was no RPM or any other issues after the service. I highly recommend the services of Ustaad Mechanic to others for tuning and component cleaning.
