This os a hell big drawback...i jave driven mu friends 10 vti oriel manual 46k km driven...it has rock hard clutch and unsmooth gear shifits rather hatd enough...i was thinking that his particular civic has this problem....but its a shock to hear that all 06 plus civic has this prob...even his 90 corolla drive is better.

but you know i got the clutch set replaced...at first it was silky smooth after the replacement and i wasnt liking it but after a day it came bk to its normal place and now i am so used to it that smooth clutch py maza hi ni aaata...u just get an awesome pick and with this kind of clutch cars movement is even more smoother when u release it...and its second gear is rly hard you miss that once a day surely

is sy zyada pyari gear shifting kisi gari ki ni honi in this league....just the clutch is hard that is good for ur legs muscle

Yes gears are hard a lil but aik baar aadat hojae tou sub okay hojata. Try pressing the clutch with full power from left leg.

Errrr, i have always failed to understand why do people talk about regular saloons like its a high pedigree ferrari or an F1, oh my God the prosmatec is very slow while manual transmission is a real rocket in comparison. Ufff the automatic cars are horrible as i have to participate in a drag race or a sprint every morning going to work and that fraction of seconds during the race daily in my Civic makes me lose the championship. When will we grow out and mature that these daily use family saloons make no difference even if an auto. Best of luck to all my friends comparing manuals and auto civics who win and lose racing championships daily for the same reason. Micheal Schumacher also had a manual 1.8 Civic as he also thought prosmatec was very slow to win F1 championship

I don't think its a quality issue, I guess this car is just like this, Even the suspension is hard, At times makes the back ache on lovely khaddas of Gujranwala. This car is just like this, Stiff & gives that hardish feel, Steering is harder as well if you compare it to corolla.

yes its free IF yr car is less than 5 years old like i said... mine had crossed the 5 year mark

I don't think its a quality issue, I guess this car is just like this, Even the suspension is hard, At times makes the back ache on lovely khaddas of Gujranwala. This car is just like this, Stiff & gives that hardish feel, Steering is harder as well if you compare it to corolla.

no owner of 8 gen is not satisfied with the car...and the people who are having 8 gen in manual dont conier changing to auto because its truly a gem

Bhai jan meri car june 2009 ki manufactured hai aur August 2014 mai doosri dafa badalwai hai free of charge after 5 years. I contacted honda lahore office. Fort waloon nai pehlay no ker diya tha case but honda company took it up. I love my car and this model it is better propotioned as far as design is concerned and it is very reliable

I want an humble opinion based on 100 % true
I have swift right now but im selling it just for its hard suspension which i dont like as roads are not good in sindh
Is civic reborn's suspension soft as compared to city and swift or its same as hard and stiff?

I haven't used swift so can't say much but 8th gen is more on the grippy side then comfort. Imo better than city

No idea about swift. However, I would say all Honda cards are city cars and prolong use on tooti phooti roads will cause suspension issues. Also Civic 8th gen is not good if there are road cuts, you can feel that it hit something hard.

no the suspension is really rough and tough in 8gen i have taken it to many extremes(dont expect suv extremes :p) and it havent given any issue in suspension till now but no its not much comfortable on those roads and when it hits a pothole you just hate the responce because there is almost no responce from the suspension as if there are no shocks in the car...its suspension and clutch both come in performance category rather than comfort
