I want an humble opinion based on 100 % true
I have swift right now but im selling it just for its hard suspension which i dont like as roads are not good in sindh
Is civic reborn's suspension soft as compared to city and swift or its same as hard and stiff?

lets sum it up this way in terms of suspension
corolla>city=swift>reborn

__Corolla's suspension has only one plus point: its comfortable for the front occupants. The rear passengers are too concerned with the hard seat to notice the soft suspension.

__In other areas i.e. on centre-feel, turn in, feed back, and stability, Reborn is miles ahead. The 9th gen Civic tried to follow Corolla's lead, so it has worse handling than Reborn.

__As for durability, my dad's 7th gen Civic VTi regularly hits potholes on GT road. Even then, it has only needed routine maintenance; it still handles pretty well. Just give it proper routine maintenance, and the Reborn's (or any Civic's) suspension is just as durable as the Corolla's.

the rear comfort of corolls is still better than reborns
and no doubt there is no comparison with reborn in terms of stability and all as i said its more performance oriented
about durability i was talking about with no maintaimance at all and i meant uneven roads hitting pot holes here and then taking it to villages...it wasnt comfortable but its durable ...people say civics suspension is not durable in these kind of conditions but they are wrong

no the suspension is really rough and tough in 8gen i have taken it to many extremes(dont expect suv extremes :p) and it havent given any issue in suspension till now but no its not much comfortable on those roads and when it hits a pothole you just hate the responce because there is almost no responce from the suspension as if there are no shocks in the car...its suspension and clutch both come in performance category rather than comfort

its just if you want some thrill go for 1.8 if u want sakon dy ride and sterring py buttons(ones u can live without too) and fuel economy although it gives around 15 and 1.8 manual can give upto 12 then go for hybrid...be carefull token tax is 22000 for 1.8

I haven't used swift so can't say much but 8th gen is more on the grippy side then comfort. Imo better than city

No idea about swift. However, I would say all Honda cards are city cars and prolong use on tooti phooti roads will cause suspension issues. Also Civic 8th gen is not good if there are road cuts, you can feel that it hit something hard.

Actuly my route is on highway only and that too once or twice a month but thats 500+kms trip i have no any work to drive it in interior sindh's un patched roads but as many of you know now highways are under construction in sindh,many diversions, unpatched roads,big bumps etc etc which my swift do every time but its suspension is super hard on a small path hole or on any small bump it feels very bad like one is traveling on a donkey cart,
I see where i have to slow down swift there corollas going on 100+ speed and i myself have corolla xli 2007 which is also very very soft on rough roads.

A 1.3 Hybrid Civic is big NO. First of all its not even a hybrid, its a stop and go engine shutting off technology not true hybrid. The average is not so good either. The 1.3 engine is underpowered massively. In terms of maintainence only suitable if you have a workshop across your home. Due to the reason it won't start on 3rd day if not used.

And did someone here say Corolla's back seat is better than Reborn? Well one reaction for that: hahahahahahahahahaha, good joke. Not to mention the hard seat makes your a** hurt in a corolla even on the smooth motorway after couple of hours. Need a maalshiya to rub your body after An intercity journey on Corolla for aching bones and back. Reborn is only uncomfortable on pot holes etc but Corolla makes every bone in the body ache even on smooth surfaces if sitting for long.

Yes for sure Reborn has a slightly hard rear suspension but its still superior than sitting on a hard bench thats useless everywhere. Getting a 205/65-r15 Yokohama or good brand soft tyre makes the problem go away. Get rid of the stupid EuroStars (made by General) and its a treat.

The 1.3 Hybrid is worth some serious fuel economy numbers, but it requires a very special driving style. Basically, you have to avoid using assist/regen as much as possible.
