__Corolla's suspension has only one plus point: its comfortable for the front occupants. The rear passengers are too concerned with the hard seat to notice the soft suspension.
__In other areas i.e. on centre-feel, turn in, feed back, and stability, Reborn is miles ahead. The 9th gen Civic tried to follow Corolla's lead, so it has worse handling than Reborn.
__As for durability, my dad's 7th gen Civic VTi regularly hits potholes on GT road. Even then, it has only needed routine maintenance; it still handles pretty well. Just give it proper routine maintenance, and the Reborn's (or any Civic's) suspension is just as durable as the Corolla's.
