9 days tour to Khunjrab Pass

Hi! We are planning a 9 day trip from Islamabad to Khunjrab pass after EID. We are 10-12 people. We want to explore every beautiful point on our way. A few points that we have finalized are:

Deosai
Shigar
Chillas - Raikot
Gilgit
Hunza - Altit Baltit Fort, Royal Gardens, Eagel Nest
Atabad Lake
Khunjrab Pass
Any other you want to recommend

We want to know that what would be the best route to take so that we can visit all of these places within 9 days. Also, would it be better to arrange our own transport or should we go with NATCO or with any other tour planner.

A tentative estimation of the budget if possible would also be appreciated.

Route depends upon when you are leaving Islamabad.. If you are leaving after eid, Naran-Babusar route might open by then, you can follow that route which is short and full of sceneries..
If you can arrange your own transport, it would be better than other modes of transport..

First of all i want to say please add Naltar Lake in your list.
for estimation of total budget, conveyance etc all things matter on number of person. so please mention the number of person & you will go with family or friends then we will guide you accordingly.

Plan can be
1. Isb Naran Astore
2. Astore Road around (chillum, minimerg rama , ramaa lake)
3. Astore to Skardu via Deosai, Sadpara is in way
4. Skardu Visit Shangrilla, Upper Kachura
5. Skardu to Hunza
6. Hunza (altit , baltit , eagles nest)
7. Hunza to Khunjerab (covering passu cones, passu glacier, Hussaini village) and back
8. Hunza to Naltar and back to hunza or gilgit
9. Gilgit to Isb
YOu can do all these places on own transport Natco has time limitations.

Skardu-Hunza might take 11 hrs or so as the road is under construction

Salams, i read you mentioned that all places be reached in own transport, do you mean private car? I am asking because deosai is in the list and i am planning a trip to khunjrab after eid.

Yes you can do deosai on a private car and Khunjerab is all paved road till border so no issues at all. Your car may get some scratched from beneath reaching deosai though

Please let me know how will you be going from Karachi to Islamabad.
And how much is the expected approximate cost for 2 persons.
