I have one cg 125 bike in not good condition,

Model 90 Japanese

Khanewal Number

All chromed parts r rusted.

Engine is not good.

Should i sell it or either should i go through project to fix it

Problems.

Whole Electrical Wiring...Battery...
HEad and back light frames........Indicators....

Tank is leaking............

Plug gets short after 2 kms of drive

Shocks leakage........

Silencer rusty + i think its choked

Tyres and rims need attention too.

I'm thinking to fix it but not sure from where i get all original japanese parts and how much budget requires.

For all things i can spare 15 k easily but after such amount i want my bike to be in first class grade. Is 15 k enough for such job?

I live in islamabad.

If i sell as it is.how much would be price.

Bike haven't used since 1999. Parked in open space under all weather conditions.

I tried to take it on road last month but then after 2 or 3 km's of drive spark plug issue begins and missing also, then it won't start. But first starting was very quick...i think it take only 3 or 4 kicks with choke and it starts after 11 years of rest.

Now i need suggestions for wat do to with bike and if i restore than from where in islamabad/Rawalpindi i get original 90 model cg 125 parts.

Also recommend me the best mechanic coz in past this bike was badly treated by the mechanics.

my opinon is that you should sell your bike.and by a new one dont waste your money on that such thing. if you are intrested in restoring the bike the spare parts are available at MOHAMDI AUTOS at cometi chock rwp.but first you check the avabilty of spare parts .

Sell it and get a new one.
Just to give you an idea about prices in Rawalpindi,
I restored my point model CD70 which was in a very good shape even before the restoration and it costed me around 22~24k for the complete restoration.
CG 125,s parts are more expensive and so is the labour so 15k wont be sufficent to fix the bike in the condition that you mentioned.

you can check it out your self it dont know much about the parts.there are some good mechanics in rawalpindi iwill give address to you but my opinion is that you should sell your bike dont waste money or time .... there are also some ignition issue (point)with these models..

Check the dealers at circular road and you will get an estimate.

You should sale it, coz u are not sure that after restoration it will not trouble you! and after spending a nice amount of money and precious time probably it will become a stress for you..

Dear.... I have 90 model but hole engine work is required..... and never disturb me like point issues, starting problem but it need to be complete engine mantainance....should i repair it or sold......and what you suggest me which model is best of Honda CG 125 to purchase in used condition.

U have a CG 125 Point model. Its not rare and spares are readily available and I'm 100% positive you will not find any difficulty finding them. However the issue you have are the efforts and money you have to put in this restoration. A good engine rebuilt with all japanese genuine parts can cost you arround 12-15k. So in other words you will bust your budget in the engine rebuilt alone. Body work, paint, body parts will easily eat up some where 15k easily. Tyres tubes and rims will set you back 8K atleast. You need 40K to restore a CG125 in its prime condition.

Its your decision. I usually like such kind off projects so, suppsoedly given a chance I would have restored it. It might not be true for you.

Salam Dear....

I have 99 Model in which whole engine work is required.....could you please help me that should i remake it while it has been remake before 3 year. body is ok and never disturb me like starting, point issue etc. if i sold it then which model will be the best in used condition. dear i want max speed with no vibration. accroding to my knowledge 98,99 model is best.
