92 Accord (CB7)

Following is 92 Accord. No piece of car was ever painted. All dents it had were dry dented and primer was applied on inner side to prevent rust. Despite the very good care the car is 20+ years old so age is a factor.

Questions:

1. 3M Wrap or Complete Paint JOB (rust is there as seen in pictures)
2. Bumpers need to be re done, I want slight changes in Bumpers, not to make them Ricer ones but decent I plan to put rear two exhausts on car. Please share suggestions with pics.On Front I think a lip would do
3. Should i lower the ride further ?
4. What can be done in regards to Rust Places as seen in Pictures

@star2 you wont imagine man.......... I have dropped the ride about 3 inches. Did nothing to rear. The previous owner did something i guess........

@IsbCap other than the shown there is no rust in the car............ the car is very good man your choice was good in this case. Comfortable.

rear height in regards to front height is inappropriate in my view... it may be the angle of your picture...

does this accord have its original rear shocks and springs ? I am in doubt of that.

I think you are correct in your doubt...... I think its not because previous owner had installed monstrous springs in front shocks.

I recommend a repaint to stop the rust. The cracking/hazing in the paint is clear coat failure. Only fix for that is a repaint. If repainted right, you won't regret it, the car will become much easier to maintain.

@margallar well that is Ok to me. I have a question that the rusted parts, if we install metal sheet then only one side would be painted and will soon rust off from back.......... why not scratch it and fill with primer ? what do you say @xulfiqar?

@margallar also what should it cost to paint this car in good quality paint with nicely done shine. Car still have shine there. One painter said do not paint the car its original (who cares it has its own resale) and no one would be able to bring it back in real shine and so called Jali

@star2 kio marwane wale mashware de rahe ho already a suspension guy ne chuna laga dala. Front suspension only and took 18k :(.......... i would perhaps cut the springs two or three rings

and by the way, when you will cut the spring, it will not perform like it should. I think the required tension is produced by a specific length for a specific spring, don't know its theory,
