96 Indus Corolla problems

please help me i have corolla 96 indus with 1.6 efi engine but the problem is that i am facing low fuel milage and rpm problem, the rpm is doesn't stay stable when i turn on my head lights,heater or any thing related to electrical point of view and also disturb the pick of car,
i have done all the tricks changed 2 throttle body also the auto chowk sensor,injectors,computer and the generator.
also checked by electrition and the best mechanic in rawalpindi and the they said that now you have to change complete wiring but i am not satisfied if problem will remain same after change of wiring then what?
one more thing some time car blow blue smoke from exaust when i use 4 or 5k rpm mechanic says that engine need work like rings are weak u should chane the assembly,but i am thinking to swap the engine and go for 16 valve 5a 1500 or 1n-z or any other engine or sell the car.
plz help me i am new on this forum and want expert opinion what should i do

today i went to burraq autos workshop in rwp where i met Ustad yousaf and they said that you have to give us time to check the car and InshaaALLAH problem will be solved and i hope so because of their best way of dealing and diagnose,
will go to workshop on tuesday and then see what happens

ok, 5A-FE is good engine and price quoted for complete work is reasonable. Ask them to jot down the compression test figures for the engine they purchase and rig in vehicle.

Also they shall adjust the price of the current engine or else you can bring the complete wiring, ecu & engine back to your place. - You are paying for the swap not selling the engine in the same price. Negotiate

make sure it is either a EFI 5A-FE / 5A-FHE EFI engine

as 5A- only is a Carburetor variant and fuel guzzler.

Egine with manual gear price without labour and after adjusting my engine is 75k and with labour is 90k i think engine price is to expensive what you think

Engine with auto gear price is 85k after adjusting my engine
5A-FE 1500cc japanese EFI petrol Engine

and one more thing i want to go for 1nz-fe engine
plz tell me which one is the best

if thats the price quoted under terms & conditions price is reasonable. Keep it manual, but make sure they drain the transmission oil to refill with new fresh oil before engine is rigged to vehicle

1 NZ_FE will be huge in this engine bay and need some serious metal surgery. However ask BURRAQ for any other Bolt-on engine swap possibilities.

some mechanics told me that 1nz-fe is best in fuel and also the pick because 1nz-fe are new and fresh engines and every part is available easily

1NZ-FE you may have to change suspension as well

for 5A_FE if engine is in good health compression readings for all 4 cylinders are over 160 psi at wet 13-15 km/liter with ac is very easy to achieve

I have purchased this car Xe Gli 1.6 isb number black colour about 4 months ago in 7 lac and if i change the engine and also tyres because not in good condition and little more work it will cost me 8.50 lac so plz guide me what should i do,
spend money on this car or sale it and go for any other car

Why not overhualing?

Diagnostics does not mean you tell owner to change the engine.
At least you should have dry and wet compression values. That should tell about mechanical health is engine. If mechanically engine doesn't have the right compression, then forget about the rest.

couple of hours ago i went to another well known mechanic in rwp saddar (mithu khan) and i told him about

my car low fuel consumption problem he said that swap of engine is not the solution because 16 valve EFI

engines fule average is not good maximum average is 12 to 13km/ltr on long.

he said that best option is to switch your car to gas\cng because corolla 16 valve engines runs very good on cng and cng average is also good.
