This's most probably the one we'll be getting over here in Pakistan because as far as i remember, same car is going to be launched for the Chinese Market too. The car looks good minus those lights on the trunk.

According to GM of Honda Qaedeen Karachi, that they postponed the idea of introducing new model in 2012 dueto lack of bussiness in Pakistan, if they introduce the new civic its price will start from 2.1 million which will decrease their bussiness more.

People are currently buying top of the line variant Honda Civic with Navigation and Leather Interior which costs 2,070,000 and with the registration cost's and all, it costs a good 2.1 million. Therefore, i dont think that they'd face any problems selling the 9 Generation Civic if it's base model would be priced at 2.1 million because first of all, it'll be a new shape with new features. And secondly, people wont mind buying it if they offer a new powerful engine in it.

They are not going to offer a 2.4 litre for sure.And the engine lefts is same old r18.

i am surprised at how little honda civic has changed this time. front looks like city while rest of the car largely looks the same. first in its history a new civic has nothing new to offer over the outgoing model
but i found this pretty true

Prices in UAE Dhs 75,000 to Dhs 90,000 of new civic expected compared to

Not really. To me, the corolla still looks like an uncle's car while as this civic is more sportier and sleek. Secondly, there's no final verdict on which motors we'll be getting in the PKDM 9 Gen. Civic. Can be either the R18, K20a or the K24.

After decades if they have provided an adequate engine (ie.dual vvti) then it doesnt mean you start to call R18 'old' which infact will be more refined version of current type.

Exactly! And even if we get the R18 motor in the 9 Gen. Civic, the 9 Gen. Civic will be some seconds faster than the current Civic because of it being lighter than it's predecessor (H)

the Honda's are known for there refinement, and durable engines. but as far as design is conerned there shapes look tooo japanese. i'm not saying there is wrong with the shape but they don't stand boldly inside a crowd
