Yes it will be inferior than 8th (8th was inferior than 7th; but had great looks); this is how things are going forward! Unlike 8th; this 9th Civic is not drastically different, neither got charming looks nor looking loveable...

The only two attractive features I am looking forward are iMID and ECO-MODE...If they offer these two features here even in Oriel; I will update my 8th VTi to 9th Oriel happily; even if it will have same R18!

I didnt like the automatic gear compartment though, the one in 8 Gen is way more stylish!

u r rite on this ..when in 2007 i bought brand new oriel when my friend saw the hand brake lever he told oye yea kya nos switch ha kya ..lol and then 9 gen civic hand brake lever is same as city

The new generation of the Honda Civic subcompact will make its debut the next Guangzhou International Motor Show to be held at the end of this year.

The new Civic will reportedly be based on its American counterpart, with a 30 mm shorter wheelbase than its predecessor. The Civic takes design elements from the CR-Z concept, with redesigned grille and rear lights. Honda made the changes in order to increase the subcompact's drivability. The new car will be the first time a 115 Kw, 2.0 L engine will makes its appearance in China..
