I have been a member of this site for nearly a decade - since 2014 to be exact. I wanted to set aside some time to thank the entire PW community (Founders, Owners, Admins, and especially PW members).
The site has been an invaluable resource for me in getting in-depth and specific information related to different car related matters. I am a somewhat a 'noob' when it comes to cars. And the valuable advise and tips of the professional and experienced members have helped a lot.
From buying the right car, addressing maintenance related issues, right down to purchasing the best tires, the advise I got from the respected PW community members has helped me make informed decisions. The valuable advise and help prevented me from wasting money on lemon cars with faults and issues. Moreover, the guidance form the community members prepared me to proactively resolve issues and maximize my car's life.
I believe this site is both a car encyclopedia and a type of sadqa jaria as giving consultation is a sadqa.
"And those who answer the call of their Lord, and perform As-Salat, and who (conduct) their affairs by mutual consultation, and who spend of what We have bestowed on them;" (Sura Shu'ra (Consultation) 42:38).
