Few days back a guy came to me he was going to swat and was running on water, somehow some leak was in the cooling system. So car got heated up near chakdara
He got the engine swapped from there as his block coolant line area was all rusted.
After the swap, he was facing a loud cam noise, the Desi mechanic there did a magic.. Vvti system was broken so he removed the vvti, welded the oil feed to cam booster. And added silicone in the oil holes where vvti adapter and solenoid fit. And placed a Toyota vvti adapter with a gasket sheet blocking the oil feed backed up by silicon blockage... The guy searched about me and brought the car for inspection and was really skeptical that some mechanics in rwp isb said its coil some said its injectors some told some other stories like red riding hood and fairy tales. Once the vehicle came to us we took compression test. Which was 160"s in each cylinder. Wrong spark plugs added out of a city.
So once we reached to the solution we found out vvti scam. Bought a vvti adapter with pipes and installed it back and silicone blocked the holes that we had to spend entire 2hours cleaning the silicone so we got oil feed running out. After vvti adapter and pipes were connected back, and car was started. Immediately the sound disappeared and car owner was really happy. Since then he maintained his car from us, got the ac serviced, got the radiator hoses replaced and tstat plugged back in which was removed by that chakdara mechanic.
So there are plenty of mechanics who don't know about Suzuki m series system. So it's your job being a car owner to research yourself on Internet to find out how maintenance is done in your car.
