some problems:
because cars normal gatta is hardboard thats 2-3mm thick, the clips work fine for them
however they arnt long lasting..
lasani board is a lot stronger and less flexible due to its thickness. so the clips need to be very strong. the clips i used just popped back out.. held them in place when i fixed the door lock handle and arm rest.
if clips have hard plastic like the genuine ones that originaly come in jdm cars there is no problem
before putting the gattay back
i thoroughly cleaned the doors inside, removed grease and then oiled again.
the chinese central locking guns have a habit of getting stuck or loose time and again.
i took them out, thoroughly oiled them, wrapped them in plastic bags and sealed them
and then fixed them again securely
till now repeated opening and closing of locks, they still work fine.
stuck a clear transparent sheet on the door. and then fixed the gattay back
