Civic, in West with the growth they have developed their legal infrastructure as well. In Pakistan even getting a water, gas connection etc is looks like an uphill struggle and people give up. Such systems only allow the corrupt to flourish. Small companies that are the backbone of any society could not become profitable and to play a part in economy. In west a corruption of few thousand dollars by even top politicians will end up their political career. In Pakistan such growth is tied with corruption. It is true it is very difficult for someone from a disadvantaged background to raise living standards and the cause of frustration, despite the Intellectual level. In west even a millionaire kids will even do rounds of paper delivery. What you expect from a society brought up like that. There are only 10-15 families having full control of our society.
What you expect from Zardaries, Sharif's, Gailanies, Sahabzadas descendants. They will rule us for another 100 years through the corruption funds unless it is taken back or sent to g****s by a fair justice system or through a revolution.
But the problem of our nation is that everyone thinks it's their right to do corruption and is taken as an opportunity and a blessing.
Until the social rights are not taken from those corrupt few, their is no chance this society will get better.
It is true Bhutto was a good politician unlike his descendants and thats why he was punished by the west through Zia ul Haq. He acted as an American agent and destroyed many functions of society. An Islamic society is one where Islamic values are promoted. A fair justice system is one example he failed to promote. I was a big fan of him but now I realize it took us to dark ages and will not get out of this for another 60 years.
