Hi All,I am facing a problem that A/C is putting much more load on the engine. With A/C car feels very heavy and difficult to move. without A/C it have excellent pick and power. (Baleno 2003) Cooling is satisfactory at all speeds and RPMs.
no squeeking sound from belt?. that s in case pulley's jamming from rains.
have a/c gas psi checked,
No squeeking sound.Got the belt changed few months back, its in good shape.

Airconditioned dresses?
best option get rid of AC
check for idler pulley, check for compressor - either has ended up the GOOD LIFE
btw ma alto(2010) also has same prob ...
Got the compressor, pulley, and Gas pressure checked ,,,, all fine.
This could be an issue with one of the sensors in the throttle body. The car's timing might not be advancing enough under load conditions. Have the throttle body cleaned and check all vacuum pipes as well.
could you post the "fine" results here - what was the PSIG of the liquid and vapour lines?
Well I didn't get a chance to see the exact PSI readings but what I had done so far is took the car to two different relatively well reputed AC workshops. They connected their meters on AC lines and diagnosed with the result that AC gas and compressor are ok. The compressor is tripping normally. The AC is giving quiet good cooling even at sunny afternoons.
Now the next step I will be doing this weekend is to get the throttle body and IAC valve cleaned.
Focus dude focus, if your car is perfect in pickup and running smooth without Aircon, the butterfly, the fuel MICHUR, timings & ignition is fine, problem start when AIRCON comes IN , right ??? - so the POP is ... AIRCON, tackle it that way.
The issue solved, cleaned the throttle body and associated sensors with the carb cleaner. It was really an easy job of 15-20 mins. Followed the posts mentioned in the below link.

Few videos to clean throttle on YouTube helped as well.
The issue was significantly observed with A/C due to load on engine and throttle fail to response under loaded conditions. Well I guess need more frequent throttle cleanings as I drive in polluted areas of Lahore.
