Bhai you didn't connected the high side gauges in whole process?
The temperature meter you have bought will have two sensors one inside that and other one with that wire which is labeled as out...
14.4 seems fine to me if it was with the door's open. Normally it will go below 9 easily if door's are shut and AC is in recirculation mode...

Now adjust that desi thermostat where the AC trips at 9 degree if you want normal cooling.. If you want chill type cooling then you can adjust that desi thermostat to 4 degree centigrade vent temperature...

Obviously it was your first DIY on AC system so for doing it first time i will give it 10/10.
But you can even improve more next time.

i set irt at day time ore now ?

Time doesn't matter. You can keep this thermometer in your car and adjust that knob of thermostat while going to work or comming back.
Just adjust it where you feel comfortable..
I would usually go with 4 degree centigrade as i like chill feeling of AC. But for fuel economy and all that 9-11 degree vent temperature is perfectly fine it will make the interior bearable and you will not sweat....

The one that is showed by the sensor on wire.
This must have a small user manual inside it's box check that on which setting the sensor on wire work's.
As you need to check the vent temperatures that would only be possible with sensor on wire...

Ok. Iss ko simple krr letay hain...
Aisa karein sensor ko apnay hath me pakrein aur hath bnd krr lein. Aur dekhein jis setting pe temperature barhnay lgg jay wo wire walay sensor ki ha.

No no you need to set it at out temperature then.
Just insert that sensor which is at wire in the ac vent and it will tell you vent temperature...
