Bro, I am facing a strange problem of hard gear shifting in my cultus after I changed its old gear oil with zic 75W-85 API GL-4.
What is the reason?

Just a gear oil change shouldn't cause the hard gear shifting problem. If the oil is orignal..
Still check the clutch setting if you got it changed from some mechanic. Last time when i got it changed in my car the guy at service station out of nowhere messed up the clutch setting and that caused hard gear shifts in my case.

Bro, clutch setting is according to the factory spec.
I have changed pressure and clutch plates too around two months ago when overhauled the engine. Hard gear shifting popped up when engine gets hot. Mechanic is telling me that I poured thin gear oil.

In owner's manual SAE-75W-85 and SAE-90 API GL-4 are recommended.
So for sure it is not the wrong viscosity. But if it started to happen after gear oil change then this might be fake ZIC.
Mechanic must be recommended the thick SAE-140..
