A/C Tripping

last summer i had serviced my 1.6gli A/C.It was working fine.

But Now its cooling is degraded.And also it doesnt trips on econo mode.It keep running in econo mode.

One thing more the fan which comes on with ac(loctaed in front of car) is also running very slow.
Last summer the fan was running with full speed creating hummmmmmmm noise.

Whats the problem iwant to know before going to the mechanic

Get it Serviced again.. and about the fan , its not a problem, the CIRCUIT inside the Dashboard that's responsible for the 3 speeds of the fan mite be damaged, ANY GOOD Repair Person can fix it .. probably cost u around 100-200Rs. ok.

PLS DONT GET UR AC SREVICED TILL IT STOPS WORKING.how many times i have 2 tell ppl about this:). anyway, if ur car is not over heating,then let the fan work in as is mode.cant help u further.good luck

It might be possible that due to the rains in the recent year, it might have got blocked.
I m saying this coz i got my city's AC cleaned a few weeks ago and almost half a bucket full of mud came out of it.

Probably your fan motor has jammed due to water and is not cooling condenser appropriately raising head pressure and causing compressor trips via high pressure switch.

Poor quality of cooling could be the result of compressor gas leakage and not tripping of A/C may be due bad setting of thermostat or faulty thermostat.

@wasim87 if it is the ac compressor fan that has slowed down, then it could be the main culprit. Get it checked - its motor may need to be repaired or changed. This should fix your problem (if it is a slowed down condensor fan)

Because of dust, the coil unit (inside or under the dash) get heavier and put load on compressor. Get it clean and you will amaze with the change in the cooling performance.

Outer units are washes when car is serviced. You can do it at home too by pressure washing the mesh of evaporator and radiator but inside unit required professional help (any good a/c shop do).

my car a/c cooling is good but the air presure from the blower is low...what should i do to increase?

If you are facing AC's tripping problem like the sound of TAK TAK OR ac starts and immediately stops then it is gas problem. The service man has overfilled the gas. The solution to this problem is to consult a good AC mechanic and set the pressure of the gas. If just fan speed problem exists then it might be due to current. For this problem install a device called CUTOUT to amplify the current, it will improve the speed of the fan.

as per my understanding a relay can't amplify current...its just a remote switching device...its so misleading to say that relays are current amps.

thankz guyzz...talking about a relay i noticed one thing with my ignition key..whenever i start my a/c n drive little kms the key gets hot i think the salotion of this matter is also a relay..b/c my previous car also got the same thing...does both my problems will be resolved with one relay??

I am user of wagon r japanese 660cc...
Cooling coil leaked and replaced with original one.
After that ac compressor trips frequently.
Less cooling in idle.
Just cooler feeling in mid day and good cooling in cold environment.....

Mechanic told at the time of fitting that he has overcharged the system. And exhaust gas for hi pressure side when engine rpm was at 2000 and ac running..

Is this problem due to hi gas
Or
Low gas....
Please guide me.......
