Time to move on....

we reached Lahore at 4pm which was exactly 4 hours off the regular arrival time :S

The entire station was crowded by trains as all the trains from KHI were late by atleast 3 hours due to Sugarcane trolley incident during the night in Sindh.......anyhow after a wait of 15 mins or so our train driver finally managed to find an empty platform it was very irritating......

now the team was fed up because of the 23 hours train journey and they wanted to take a bus to Pindi and Muree, I on the other hand was looking forward to going towards Swat, however, democracy won and I surrendered, we ended up getting tickets for Pindi Rail Car which was about to leave at 4.30pm, somehow or the other we managed to get back to the platform after a struggle of 15 mins, it was total mayhem all of Lahore was at the railway station.

the railcar journey was extraordinary and trust me it is the best way to travel between Lahore and Pindi, the train hardly stops and it is perfect for the small travel

we reached Pindi on time at 9.15 pm

will wait for Bhai jee to post some crisp and clear pics of the train ride

I hardly slept at night in train. Following my old habit of getting up early and grabbing my camera for early morning shots.
but here situation was a bit different. There was so much fog in the morning that it was hard to even read the station's name :o

Tried a lot to get some early morning misty shots but failed. Finally was able to grab some after 9.00 AM.

There was an interesting character travelling with us, "Uncle No", which was introduced earlier by Farhan. He had an ability to "Negate anything and everything".
When the party was awake, we had some refreshment. After some time we started a worthless discussion with Uncle No. When he came to know that we are going for a pleasure trip. He delivered the Fatwa that there's nothing to see in Pakistan. If you want to see the world you should go abroad. And Asim bhai was pouring his full patriotism in Uncle's cup and trying to show him the beautiful side of Pakistan, but he was not ready to taste :(. He was telling that he had seen many places like Dubai, Singapore, Hongkong etc and used to travel once in a while. When we asked him which places he had seen ? He replied proudly that I used to travel for purchasing, and what I saw is ; airport, hotel and electronic markets. Nothing else ! And there is nothing else to see in those countries too !!!
