A chill trip

We were in search of some desi food so we turned to a side lane, instead of main Mall road. A it was a wise decision. Had a desi breakfast, same place where we had a Scrumptious dinner last night.

Glamour of Mall road was in full swing.And our babajee was charging his batteries which were left a bit short last night.

The irritating part was that, every one here; from hotel walas, parking walas, to drivers etc. seems to be butchers, ready to cut the throat of tourists, which left a bad taste in this lovely weather. :S

This is our old practice that we leave the city without any concrete plan. Once we reach some destination, then decide where to head further. So we reached Murree and having no concrete plan left for some nearby stations to find some snow and peace.
Left for Nathia gali. The cab drivers were asking for Rs.3000 for Nathiagali, so we reached bus stand and caught a passenger hiace and reached Nathiagali in Rs.300. (H)

It was Friday so the driver stopped for few minutes at Barian for a Namaz braek.

Now we had the feeling that we are out on a Hill station.

Time to move on.......

All of Muree was at Ayubia so an hour or so was wasted negotiating traffic at Ayubia :S

FINALLY reached Nathia Gali by 3 pm and started clicking

It was pleasent up there with less people and beautiful views of the passing winter

and we were all praying for snowfall the next day

Found an ok place to crash for the night just at the other edge of the bazar

Meanwhile bhai jee was trying to capture something different from the ledge (post em man we are waiting :))

Although it was crowdy but as we were moving away from Murree, it was getting better.

Infact we were all squeezed up like roosters, in Hiace but we were looking out and enjoying in anticipation to reach a better place;
Less crowded and less spoiled.

An interesting thing happened which entertained us a lot.
The Hiace stopped at a turn, it was traffic jam and vehicles were passing very slowly. There was a good heap of fresh snow on the left. A pathan boy sitting next to me on last seat, sitting beside window, carrying a bag suddenly jumped out of the window.
Took a couple of shoppers out of his bag and started collecting snow in them and after filling them up jumped in through window and fitted them in his bag. Every one was surprised, what’s he doing ? Farhan asked ; what was that ? I replied “Take away”(H)
