Cultus - Price too high - brand of Suzuki price of top tier
Now Suzuki left with Mehran (with same technology of 1983 Suzuki 800 except efi) and Wagon R
They have confined themselves for a larger population and low level income niche + for those who wants to own a second car for children / home use.
Rest they are enjoying Ravi and Bolan sales for cargo stuff.

Luxury Cars - Suzuki is out of this category - however they can manage to sell one or more ciaz a month makes it a total of 20 per year or so.
That's my personal opinion - I can be wrong - no need to get offensive

Major chunk of suzukis revenues come from government/public sector purchases, along with companies which offer 800cc and 1000cc new cars to their employees.

Plus commercial vehicles as stated above by a respected member.

Now that Shahbaz Sharif has announced purchase of 100,000/- new taxis - imagine the hard on pak Suzuki has right now, hence their arrogant pricing for new introduced cars. They just don't give a FCK.

With capacity of 150k vehicles per year and selling 130k still showing declining revenues and deteriorating profits, their books are obviously cooked.

State is in on all that. Part of that Mafia.

Toyota is also offering air bags now for the new gli. It's the leading global brand. So no comparison. Suzuki is a leading brand in India so it knows this market and is a good car. Price of ciaz needs to be re priced.

Well good luck, with your car, care to detail the which model purchased, at what price? registration cost registration cost.

Then compare the missing features and additional features.

Please dont include airbags. As they will be standard across the corolla lineup. Now compare automatic 1.35l engine to 1.3l gli

As both dont have alloys, no fog lamps, no andriod entertainment.

Would like to read on your opinion. And you would be the first person that i know who bought a off market ridiculously priced car.

Dear Pak Suzuki's Marketing Executive, working in Pak wheels on deputation (Naturally Pak Suzuki being the parent company), this is the worst piece of Crap u could have ever written. PW have just gone buzurk with this Pak Suzuki thing. Don't want to go into detail of cons like Indian Ciaz interior & options vs Pakistan's one, they have not being able to highlight the strong points like K-Series engine. Pak Suzuki have F___up a decent car with it policies & have hired Pak wheels to endorse these blunders!!!

This is not a paid content, I myself owns a suzuki ciaz and I purchased before pak suzuki increased the price of this car. All are right on the point when it comes to the price. This is the stupidity of pak suzuki to increase the price for no reason, i dont what was going inside the mind of pak suzuki GM to increase the price even though their ciaz product is still not mature yet. However every auto manufacturers has prone and cons and it depends upon likenesses of the people of a particular country. For example in Saudi Arabia people their prefer to buy honda accord over civic Similarly for toyota peple prefer to buy camry over corolla.

Very bad analogy dear, you are comparing civic/corolla with accord/camry in KSA the price difference is only 10 to 15% in these countries between respective models. SO if Camry was 2.7million and altis in 2.3million how many people will be buying it? Secondly the travel in KSA is very long distances and average speed is also greater.
So the difference in cost is minimal and fuel consumption is also not much different. it is like i tell you that PIAZ is 2.1 for 1.37l Auto and 2.4million for 1.8l Altis CVT grande. This is absolute no brainer.

You will have money to burn but that does not make PIAZ a viable option from SHITZUKI.

Please when posting also share the advantage of buying PIAZ as of today. When even it is not available for ready delivery, still does not have alloys or navigation. It is using crappy in dash controls.

You are right bro about the ciaz but in regards to KSA i was highlighting the preferences of the people on the choice of cars and secondly there is no such differences b/w the distances and the average speeds in ksa and pakistan.
Traffic problem exists all over the world. What matters is the laws made by the government in terms of auto policies.
Last but the least is that we all know that everything in our country is overpirced, so suzuki is not the only to blame. Toyota corolla itself is an overpriced and underpowered car. I own this corolla gli too.

There is a huge difference, the interccity travel in KSA is very frequent, specially for travelling to Holy cities during weekends. The average highway travelling and highway speed is far greater. the temp is high so larger displacement engine is highly preferred.
With everything over priced, why would any sane person with budget limited option opt for this instead of Gli, heck even Aspire 1.5 is way better.

The only time ill buy a ciaz is when its used and available at highly depreciated price, just like liana. The pricing of Pak suzuki is definitely ridiculous. All those saying that pricing issue should nt matter are the type of people that are main culprit for the shitty auto industry of Pakistan not the government, not the manufacturers. If we boycott the overpriced crap we would get decent competitive prices. We need one serious automotive manufacturer with competitive pricing be it nissan or the koreans and the big three will tumble in Pakistan and bring down prices and up the quality and features

Well I drove City 2011 model and Corolla 2012 model. I have no regrets driving these two cars but just for a change I want to drive Ciaz. My uncle drove Ciaz and he says handling and performance is great. Features we are not availing the same in other parts of the world.

Bro If you are so much concerned about gli and aspire 1.5, let me ask you a simple question. If gli and aspire were CBU then what would be the price of these cars honestly ? neglect air bags, alloy rims etc. just with only simple in dash option.
