Well this suzuki ciaz is much better than honda city and corolla .... first of all its imported hence better build quality nothing loose or misfit neither in exterior or nor in interior unlike the locally build cars .... i read the whole thread people are calling it shitzuki and bah blah... bhae aap log wahe ghisi piti unfit cheezain khareedtay rehna aur khush rehana k resale pa aapko aap ko aap k paisay mil jaingay ..... i bought this car just in FEB 06 2018 driven 1000 kms mine is manual,, some times i like to push my car to its limit , however didnt pushed it yet, its awesome totally. had owned honda city 2012 but its a useless and uncomfortable car with worst mileage ever.... ciaz is much better than all of these locally manufactured cars also Japanese dabbas... one thing more Pak suzuki is planning to start the production of caiz this year still unconfirmed but 80% chances are present....

i bought the car for 1750000 as discount was available from pak suzuki
150000 for registration
9500 for the floor mats orignal accessories
navigation system bought from @soliddiesel for 25000 front and rear cam for 2500 installed it myself
got it ceramic coated for 34000
so thats a total of 1,971,000 under 2 million ...
will be installing fog lamps thats max 5000-6000
still under 2 million

now comes the mileage part given me 14.2 kmpl countinously in karachi city
how ever it does gave me 15.8 kmpl while i was just cruising at night 1 am

Hello all dears,
I have just sold my Vitz 2013/2016. It is realy a wonderful vehicle with great comfort. I had only one issue, it was very low even after adding spacers, i have to think hundred times whenever going to some rural areas due to bad raod conditions.
Now i want to buy some good Sedan in +- 1.5 million. My preference is good comfort and good resale. As i normally keep the car for 2-3 years. So resale is very important factor.
We have four main choices in Pakistan.
My top choice is 2012-2013 model clean GLI. But i am also confused towards Hondaaaaaaaaaaaaas. I can also extend my budget if Ciaz is realy a very good drive. But hesitant due to its resale.
Please advice me in this regard.

I own a Ciaz , it’s a wonderful car all around , better than its competitors, but unfortunately resale can be a problem. Resale does not matter to me personally , I enjoy the car and make the most out of it.

in 1.5mil opt for the 1.6 auto gli. thats a great car, leg space is a bit less, otherwise its great. Ciaz though a great car, but not worth more than 1.6mil for the auto variant. If you can find one in that amount, go for it

Yes 1.6 Gli auto is good car. Howz it’s fuel consumption and resale. As I normally keeps the car for 2-3 years, so good resale is must. Otherwise Big dent on pocket. This is the only reason I am hesitant on Ciaz. If Ciaz had good resale I will be going for it even in 1.7-1.8 million for 2017 model.

If i consider Civic 2012-2013. Cal i get clean and problem free ride in 1.5-1.6 million. How is civic 2011-2012 ride and comfort level as compared to Vitz and GLI 2012-2013. How is civic ground clearance and resale as compared GLI. How is its resale.
Dear dayrider 1.6L GLI is very good vehicle, but it lacks immobilizer key and airbags. So due to this i am giving Civic consideration.

you can't get the 2012-2013 one in your range, not a clean one that is. 2011-2012 has a huge fan base so a super clean vehicle is still for 16 ish, goo vehicles are 14.5+. Ride and comfort are better than the vitz, less than the gli. ground clearance is lousy and resale is only good if its a low mileage and clean car.
if you want a civic, increase your budget a bit and get a basic civic 2012 new shape

gli has a super soft suspension, as do all corollas, civic has more of a hard suspension, aimed towards handling

Have experienced all of local sedans and must say Ciaz is a good car.

I know there is endless debate about this car vs the rest.

I hope ALL of us as the CONSUMERs must realize that everyone is ripping us off!

They just have elaborate ways of doing so.

Some are selling us altered used vehicles, some are selling us outdated vehicles at exorbitant prices, some are selling us featureless cars, and the government gets tax on each sale.

So if everybody is so good at ripping us off, then maybe the problem is with us.

agree but this super soft suspension is restricted to Pre FL models after FL suspension is quite hard literally not having the corolla's feel but ride quality also depend on engine transmission handling seating position interior and exterior dynamic and suspension is just one part of All so ride quality depend on suspension but many other factors as listed which are almost 80% that matters.

lol, ride quality is generally used as a replacing word for comfort, anyways, the fl altis may have a slightly hard suspension, the others don't.
and just FYI, we are talking about the 2012-2013 gli 1.6 auto.....

i dont want to start a fight b/w Hondas and toyotas here. I only want get suggestions and experience share to select good and comfortable ride here with good resale. As i have recently kept Vitz 2013, which is realy a good vehicle (i sold it due to its very low ground clearance).
Dear dayrider, how much i need to increase the budget to get clean civic 2012-2013 with Prosmatic transmission. As i think the older one (2010-2011) has very stiff suspension, low ground clearance and low fuel average. So it is out of my preference. Sorry for the Reborn fans, speed and pick comes as my last preference.
The other thing that if i increase my budget near 1.8 million, i think i can get good 1.6 Altis 2012-2013 with Auto transmission. Which is far better choice than GLI 1.6.
But i am not sure about its resale. I dont want to get big loss when i will be selling it after 2-3 years.
So again it will be choice between Civic or Altis1.6 if i have to increase my budget upto 1.8m, otherwise GLI 1.6 in 1.5-1.6 m.
I am still confused and undecided. But i am in no hurry and have ample time to take decision.

resale wise corolla is the better bet. 1.9 to 2.0 is a decent budget for a low mileage civic. infact i was recently quoted a mint condition low mileage civic for around that much not too long ago.
This is for isb number, lahore number would be cheaper, karachi number even cheaper
