Day 6 (18-07-2017)
Today we went to visit Patriata (New Murree). One of the must visit place on our list. Some 18 years ago when we visited this place during our honeymoon tour, we could not ride on cable car because it was closed for maintenance. So I wished, one day I will come back here to ride. Today it was going to be fulfilled.
We left from Murree at 9’ O clock, made a stop near lower Topa for photography and reached at patriata at around 10’ O clock. After car parking first we went to nearby restaurant for breakfast. After taking breakfast we went towards chair lift station. Now it was 11’ O clock and some hundreds of visitors were waiting in que for ride. Actually we were little late due to taking breakfast. Now there was no choice other than to purchase tickets and wait in along que. It took us more than one hour to take the ride of chair lift.
My third child was scary to take ride but when He rode along me than He enjoyed it well.
Weather was awesome. It was cloudy and raining intermittently till we reached at chair lift drop station. After some time, here we assembled in que for cable car ride. Cable car looks much safer than chair lift. It is faster than chair lift. Sometimes we were feeling like flying in a small plane. Cable car said safest car rides; we all enjoyed it too much. We were still in que; at once heavy rain started raining. It was too heavy shower. Although we were under shelter but still some water was showering over us. I purchased some polythene rain coat to protect us from rain water. After some time we were in cable car and rain was also stopped now.
During cable ride, going towards hill station, views from cable car were mesmerizing. As we were going towards altitude weather colors were changing were frequently. I can’t forget these colors.
We spent our time till evening at hill station. Here we meet with my friend and his family. Have a launch together at TDCP restaurant. We enjoyed well, walking around track and horse riding.
By evening we returned back at Murree. We went to our apartment for rest and my friend’s family went to visit mall road. I invited them for dinner, when they returned from mall road we have dinner together. Today was a memorable day of our tour.
