Day-10 (22-07-2017)
Today was planning to visit Lake Saif-ul-malook, it is one of the beautiful lake of Pakistan. After fresh up, we all went to hotel dining hall for breakfast. Till breakfast could be served I went to hire jeep for Saif-ul-malook trip. I found some jeeps in front of hotel and hired one of them. Jeep driver was a Babajee, whom I told to wait for 30 minutes till we can take breakfast. After hiring jeep I purchased some snacks and juices from a nearby shop. Everything of necessity is easily available at Naran. When I returned to hotel, Breakfast was already served.
Yesterday we tried Hot pizza in dinner as per demand of children so I did not take much breakfast. Now we started travelling into jeep toward lake. Initial part of the road towards lake is CC block (cemented) and condition is fair, afterward road till Saif-ul-malook Lake is mountainous jeep track. There are big stones all over the way on this track. Land sliding is another hazard all over there; otherwise jeep ride was a fantastic trip of over travel. Children were little scary first to see this track but after some time they start enjoying it. They were excited to see glacier and beautiful river view along with mountains. All remained busy to capture every movement till we reached lake.
First look of lake Saif-ul-malook was amazing; it is still memorized to me. No doubt it has beautiful view of nature. It is a one of master piece of nature. Nature has made it perfect but it is being damage by careless behaviors of visiting peoples as well as dahba’s commercial activities beside lake.
We hired a boat for sailing into lake, which was only possible to halfway of lake after paying a handsome amount to boat owner. Boat owners were only agreeing to go up to halfway of lake and return back. They were not agree to go further in any circumstance, possibly due to too much clients were waiting to hire boats.
Before coming to lake saif-ul-malook we forget to bring hot clothes with us. Naran weather was just bearable at morning so we all were wearing normal clothes but lake side temperature was little cool specially for our baby. She was feeling coldness. Otherwise weather was cloudy and good for enjoying here. After spending one hour over there, temperature was further dropped due to light rain, which forced us to go back and get shelter in a dabha shop. We remained inside dabha and enjoyed pokora/samosa. Here our baby was also feeling comfortable but outside temperature was bit dropped due to weather condition, so we decided to leave from there and returned to Naran at our Hotel.
After some rest at hotel we took our lunch. By evening we went to spend our time at River Kunhar. Now we were fully prepared for any weather change. All stuff was kept with us in car. First we went towards right side road, just at the end of naran bazzar but from here it was difficult to access main kunhar river so we returned back. After crossing bridge we went on the road towards Batakundi, just after passing PTDC motel, a kilometers away from Naran. Here we got perfect location for us few other families were also enjoying. We spent much of over time there and all of us enjoyed well.
After sunset we returned back to Naran. Dinner was taken at one of the famous restaurant i.e. Moon resturant Naran. Dinner was served little let due to rush but it was delicious no doubt.
