Day-9 (21-07-2017)
When I woke up and went to look outside, weather was awesome. It was cloudy and light rain, view from terrace was scenic. We took breakfast and pack up to move towards Narran. Galiyat weather condition changes dramatically so before we could leave hotel, rain was changed to heavy shower and vision was also very poor so we stayed more than one hour at hotel waiting for improvement of vision. When rain stopped we left Nathia gali for Naran. Our next stopped was Harnoi, it is a recreation point on Dor River, few kilometers before Abbotabad. Nathiagali Abotabad road is mostly steep downhill and at some places there are sharp turnings. Road condition is also not as good as Murree Nathiagali but if we drive carefully than we will not feel any problem. It is good to driver slow to manage it safely. On the way we also made few stops for photo shoot. My family enjoyed a lot at Harnoi river point; here we stayed for more than hour or two. My car was looking dirty so I hand over my vehicle to a river side car servicing person for washing and cleaning. He had a proper pump arrangement for servicing car and He washed my car thoroughly in a reasonable price. He was very nice man, He did not demanded any money from me but left upon me. We enjoyed fresh mango juice here which was really a very tasty till its last sip. When we left from here, I realized that we have to reach Naran before sun set and we are already let so drive till Mansehra little fast, as the road was mostly empty due to Friday. I refueled my car from Mansehra and made a few minute stop at road side just after passing jaba village. Our next stop was at Bisian for lunch at Mawa restaurant. Besian is a town before Balakot besides river Kunhar. Mawa restaurant is a good place for food as well as location. I was driving first time on this road. When we left from here, it was not clear to me when we may reach at Naran? So we decided if we got let than we will stay somewhere Kaghan or other place. When reached at Kaghan it was near about sun set but then we decided to drive till Naran and reached at Naran around 07:45 PM.
Naran was fully packed with tourists. Traffic at Naran main bazar was little jam and good family hotels were almost full so it was proved little hard to find hotel. After searching more than one an hour and half the mission was completed. We got two rooms in New Cecil hotel.
