Thanks for sharing! It answers a lot of questions I had in mind for the coats. There is still one question, once the coat has beeen scrubbed off for repaint and the paint has been done.

Some said its difficult to match normal paint with that of glass coat so there is always a difference.

Another thing, can we only do glass coat for the damaged surface? I've always seen packages for full car and never heard anyone doing it after repaint.

My biggest reason for not going for a coat the forst year was I wanted to play around with all the different stuff before settling in for the easy thing

Nothing to stop you from doing it.

In the end, I think people are overthinking here. Think of it, when a problem arises, but have fun.

Oh in Pakistan its not a matter of IF, it's just a matter of when and that usually is around once a month you get kissed by some bike or some female driver backing up in an empty parking lot still finding her way into banging into your car

I bought original Meguiars Swirl X, tried applying it from a microfiber cloth via hand in circular motions, it made little difference. Any reasons why? Should i try applying by DA from a car wash?

After Rinse, Shampooed the car with K3 and Foam Lance.

What are your bucket sizes ? I used to use 10l buckets, but I always found that I had to refill them half way thru shampooing the car.

So now I have upgraded to larger buckets, which hold 20-21 liters of water easily. They hold plenty of water for a single car wash and ai don't require refill in the middle of a car wash. I have also got a grit guard in each bucket.

Overall, I feel it made a big difference to my washing routine.

How is Faisalabad water now. I have found its lethal for chrome, even body as it causes rust very quickly?

Haha I noticed that earlier. I used IF because in other countries the question is if. Here it is about when and that when has a very short expiry. Max around 6 months

Mine are 16 liters. Never had to go for a refill. Even I always have some left in my shampoo bucket. Last time I filled it up to around 60% and in the end had still 10% left. In which I washed my towels are per your recommendation.

According to Xiaomi's water test meter the ground water has a reading of PDS level 1500 which is indeed really harmful for everything. The sarkari pani we get is around 300 so a lotttt better than ground pump water. I wash it with the sarkari pani.

Plus the chrome has a layer of seal and then collinite. I hope that would protect the car a bit from this stuff

The car is finally at 900+ Km so I am finally starting to enjoy the acceleration and the power of 1800cc engine with CVT. Not pushing it too much. Would get it inspected at the 1000 Km first then officially unleash the beast mode
