A little about Margalla 1000cc Model 1991

Dear fellows!
Please tell me how is this car on CNG. Does it gets DOWN on CNG or works fine with AC also?
I saw a car in its very original condition in Metallic Grey Color in Petrol with LHR registered number and well maintained. Please tell me wot should be its price?

You're mean the SWIFT sedan.
Performance is comparable to the Cuktus. Same engine, the Cultus is lighter by a few kgs but similar.

I guess Margalla is suppose to be a 1300CC car. Only Swift Sedan (one came from Japan) was 1000CC.Right? If its 1000CC, then forget about the CNG, specially while running A/C. In 1000CC slot, go for Alto or Margalla 1300CC.

Yaar, if this Swift Sedan is not good, then Japnese people are foolish who put that 1000cc little engine in it.
I think they might have some idea also about the power*weight ratio.
Can anybody suggest me about this car who also own this car with CNG + AC.

I have Margalla 96 Model which is 1300cc.The japenese people are not follish who make the car but htey make it with the patrol,they dont now in near future these cars will be run on cng.Kahanbaba is just asking if u can get 1300c which is better than this one on cng plus ac then why r u asking about it.One of my friends have it he does not put the cng on his 1000 cc but he is enjoying his car on patrol with ac.

I had this sedan for 5 years. It is a good car, comfortable and ecnomical. The AC is fnd but if you compare with margalla 1300 CC the pick up is less caz diff in engine. The engine is same as of cultus, quite complex as your mechenic should be intelligent. The ideal price range should be between 3 and 3.30 lakhs. i will rate it 6/10

Dear talhascorpion, so tell me what about the cars like Khyber and Cultus at CNG with AC and with 1000cc engine. Does they work fine bcoz their body is a little smaller than Swift Sedan.

hmm,,, It means that I shud go for 1300cc Margalla. But the thing is that I like Margalla Plus the most.
If I don't get Plus, then can anybody tell me how much it would cost me to change all the interior of simple Margalla into Margalla Plus (Dashboard + Door Interiors etc)

My friend has the Swift 1.0 1990 model with A/C & CNG. I'll ask him abt performance on CNG. But as far as I know performance on CNG is a bit less but that shud not stop u from putting CNG in ur Swift as its a good alternate to Petrol. My Mehran sux on CNG but who cares as long as I am nice & cool on a hot day.

My friend had one with a/c and the performance sucked even without turning it on.
Moreover as i remember , the engine od swift sedan and cultus are not same as former is 4 cyl and later is 3 cyl.
Some body pls correct me if i am wrong.

The Cultus and the 91 Swift sedan share the same G10 engine. Both threebangers.

Hmmm, it means that on CNG, we can't switch ON AC coz it doesn't work fine. Well this is the problem with all 800+1000CC cars.
I am use to drive khyber on AC, but I think on Swift Sedan, AC will suck more than that in Khyber.
Can anybody tell me how much it would cost me to change all the interior of simple Margalla into Margalla Plus (Dashboard + Door Interiors etc)

if u want a good average and comfort and big car then that car is very nice.my cousin used this car and he said that car is amazing and its average in cng is awsome.and abt ac then try to not buy that car in ac. u should fix ac in it by ur self 20000 is cost of a good ac and compressor should be waves.my czn has mehran 91 and he spent 20000 on ac and bought waves compressor.and its ac is working very good car does not heat in strong heat.
if that cars engine is fully ok and radiator is fine then engine will not heat so try to buy a car which engine should be ok from 100% to 90%....

yaar that all of our problem....swift runs fine with CNG...but when u switch on A/C engine takes too much load and if not setted well ur engine stalls on Idle......so can be done by professional and don't think of running A/C in city just run it on high rpms...

hmmm ok Bros, it means that this car is not too bad if I switch ON AC on CNG just at long routes, not in local city. Actually, I can sacrifice for low pick of the car, but can't sacrifice for sucking off the engine.
Any other suggestions about this car are appreciated.

yeah if nicely tuned...u can surely run ur car on A/C...just get slow pick + engine takes load on 1st and 2nd gear...
above 50km its will run fine.....just properly adjust timing and idle mixture and plug gaps....install high tension wires for better supply...replace ignition coil if needed...for CNG

yes propably i dislike suzuki...but margalla is one the models which i only like in suzuki and other one i like is 1.6 GTi :P...nothing more than that
