Dear friends. I am describing a problem which I am living since I bought my car and would request you to tell solution if some one has.
I am first owner of cultus factory fitted CNG 2006. 80k driven. allmost 75% driven on petrol . Alhamdullilah engine is in excellent condition.
Here is the problem. The idle RPM on both setting (Petrol and CNG) are same i.e. 900 to 950. On CNG, when any electrical load is switched on...i.e. fan headlights, The idle up vacuum actuator activates and brings the idle RPM to same level i.e. 900-950. But when I switch to petrol, upon switching on electrical load RPM jumps to 2000-2200.
If I adjust idle up vacuum actuator screw to around 1000 then on shifting back to CNG make the engine vibrate as idle up vacuum actuator plunger doesn't even touch the carburetor to race it up.
Obviously The reason is that there is less vacuum produced in CNG then petrol. But I would like to ask a question that is there any way, so that engine RPM remain same on switching electrical load on both settings petrol and CNG.
Same is case when a.c. is switched on on both settings.
Local mechanic and even Pak Suzuki mechanics are even unaware of such things and they only can adjust RPM on petrol or CNG. car idle RPM (on no load) is same onoas both settings as I mentioned earlier.
Experts are requested to comment.
Thanks
