We reached base camp of nanga parbat.
Hurraaah?
These were amazing moments? I can?t describe in my words.
Guide told us that we were the first who approached base camp in 2013. He was also happy because he was the first amongst locals.
There are two sights of base camp. One is lower and other is upper sight. We were on lower sight. Now a days climbers use lower area for camping but in peak season when snow is almost removed from base camp, climbers use upper area for camping.
Going towards upper base camp.
Camp 1 is almost on south face that?s why Sun rays fall straight on it. Therefore snow have been almost vanished from there. When we reached on peak of that ridge we saw that there is snow on one side of peak and other side is fully dry.
A border is made by stabbing sticks in base camp ground. Guide did not know exactly what sort of border it was.

We took rest about an hour or so and became fresh again.
We took rest in between camp 1 and camp 2. Guide and 2 friends were not ready to go furthur So I and Usman hiked further till camp 2. Camp 2 was full of snow. We took some snaps , passed some time and came back to our group. We came to know from guide that we have done some hiking on nanga parbat. Infact camp 2 was some meters above the feet of big white Giant (Nanga parbat)...

As the atmosphere is very clean that?s why sun rays are little dangerous there. We all suffered from sun burn although we used cold cream. Cold cream doesn?t work on base camp. We must use sun block.
In our childhood we used to watch in cartoons that a small snow ball becomes very big when rolls on snow. We did the experiment. Snow ball rolled well but remained same.
We did breakfast at about 6: 00am and now we were very hungry. We ate chocolate, dates (khajoor) and chaney(grams). Now we had been feeling very thirsty. Bottles were emptied and there was no water. So we tried to prepare water from snow and we succeeded. But this taste bitter.
