A new SUV in 10 Lacs, Gonow Victor

Yesterday, I got an e-mail from Karakoram Motors that I should come and check out their SUV Gonow Victor which they are Selling for 10 Lacks. It is equipped with an Isuzu Diesel Engine 2.8L 4JB1.
Clearly, I wont buy it. But my friend really liked the car and wants to buy it. The Build quality seemed fine to me, but seats were not that comfortable and Interior was not good. Anyways, He wants a car that should not make problems for atleast 5 Years. Should I stop him from Buying? What do you think?

Plus just change the tags to toyota and only SOME will find out that its not real PRADO 10 lacs for a chinese prado aint a bad deal!

This vehicle is 4x2 and most probably the older stock imported a few years back. This particular vehicle was for sale at around 1.75mil at that time.

Still its a great alternative to 10 years old Japanese sedans or new hatchbacks for those who intend to use it for excursions and a bit off the road.

This is probably stock clearance. After that where are you going to find its parts from. They won't be available at scrap markets too. These things aren't even found in china

if you inspect the vehicle closely you will see 98% of External Body & internal cosmetics are OF Toyota Prado - It is a Chinese " PRADO " with a Isuzu Diesel Engine, Toyota Power Train. It is a Robust engine, brand new with regular maintenance can last as long as 400,000 km without failure - Brand New For 1 MILLION is bargain deal compared to 3 year junk as JDM

its a great buy if some one wants a highway cruiser but I dont think it will make a great off-roader

i still remember my Father even went to the showroom to check it out he really liked it at that time and told me Beta is mein isuzu ka engine hai koi bura engine bhi nae ..later we purchased a 2.OD Sr instead
anyway if its new fresh car then i dont think its a bad purchase
10 lacs is nothing these days
but if its their old stock then 7 years i dont think its a good idea to get it

Personally I have no problems with karakoram motors. But I see more faw vehicles then their replica Prado. I haven't seen much of these in china aswell.

To me its no more then geely/cherry kachra brot here earlier. Cherry and geely had a lot better to offer. This car/SUV has no better future than fiat uno diesel dinkies.

I would spend money on a 96 surf rather then buying this. Rest your money ur choice.
