After discovering Pakwheels forum last year, I become its regular but silent member. Throughout the year, I saw many beautiful places of our homeland through the lens of PW members. Finally, I decided to join Pakwheel last month.
About the Trip:
Want to have a short family trip for three days from May 9 to 11; but we don?t want to go to Galiat region. Our first priority was Kaghan valley but its major points were closed at that time. So we decided to go to Neelum valley for the very first time, and let me tell you that it became our life time experience.
Financing was the headache of my elder brothers and organizing was mine. After researching through numerous threads about Neelum Valley, I made following itinerary for our 3 days trip:
Day 1: Left Lahore at night and reach Kutton in morning. Day visit to Jagran power station and night stay at Hydro Electric Board Guest House, Kutton (also known as Jagran Resort).
Day 2: Leave Kutton for day visit to Sharda. Night stay at Tourist Huts, Upper Neelum, Keran
Day 3: Return journey
Our whole trip was on rented hi-roof with 11 adults & 4 kids on board.
About our Views:
We all fell in love with Neelum valley, truly a beauty and a wonder of this world. How this valley would looks like between June to August; as in start of May, there was so greenery and beautiful streams everywhere. Three days seems too short for the trip and we return with the intention to come back with lot of spare days in our hand.
About the Pictures:
One Sony digital camera and three mobile cameras were used. However, in my opinion, no camera can capture the beauty of Neelum Valley. One should have to go there to witness the same.
Now start with pictures; pictures quality is not good but, I think, tolerable.
