it is toyota engine 4 cylinder engine taken off from a botched coupe sleeper this is the condition after dismantling & cleaning

more scrubbing of pistons are a real threat, machine shop is clue less whats' wrong with head & pistons

for 70000 km it was running over 20W-50 & hi-octane when it was left
some losers %$#@*&^ somehow over suggestion of so called lubricant specialist flushed & used 5W-30 every 5000 kms using super petrol now at 92000 vehicle lost roar, started to lose over quarter mile clock runs at notorious do darya engine started knock above 2000 rpm
engine taken down because at 3000 rpm it has poisonous light brown smoke and this is how the parts look like

Too much sludge, kerosene and diesel can pull this sludge off easily.
Polish the ports, by sanding it will shine.

what you see in pics is after deep cleaning the soot is like embedded over piston top & valves.
further attempt to scrap may physically hurt the piston.

new engine rebuild kit from UAE is not available as per toyota they never sold this engine variant vehicle in GCC.

yes it was taken down from an NCP ST 165 Celica pushed into a over 30+ year old Corona coupe ST 162. No one was supposed to look under the hood

every time it appeared on road hondas, corollas kei cars & jdm junkies were like and when they get smoked it was like

its heart breaking to see it dead

Looks like a toyota tvis type head port design.

Brown smoke does appear and is clear indication to stop using high octane fuel as the brown smoke was soot layers.
What was the bore clearence at the time of disassembling? ??

2nd & 3rd was very slightly rattling ( cant' term that as slapping )
was not there when disassembled so clearance was not really measured
